I asked if it was around 8 a.m., the staff called the taxi company, but at that time the taxi reservation was full, so I couldn't. So the next day, I dragged my suitcase 2 kilometers and walked. 3. The meal was very good. I felt like I was in a luxury restaurant. The hotel was unfortunate but the meal was ok. Take the Koreans' soda .. ! 4. The staff was friendly. Location - A bit far away from the Yufuin JR station, driving is recommended. Within walking distance of Kinrinko and Stained Glass Museum is a plus. Cleanliness - Clean room and common bath area. Took longer then expected for doing self check-in as the reservation number I have is different from what it is in the system, and the staff over phone barely speaks English so I have to use my broken Japanese to communicate. Facilities - Cannot ask for more for such a price. Free bicycle rental service is great for non-driving guess to travel around Yufuin.

Err hello? This is one of the best boutique hotels I’ve ever been to. The staff were just amazingly nice, given me the full Japanese hospitality treatment. Limitless alcohol and drinks plus donuts in the morning for no extra charge. Facilities are well-kept and clean. The onsite onsen is top quality. And the property is located uphill overlooking the town. Honestly just highly recommend.

I thought it was self-service and no one was there. I didn't expect that there was someone to greet you at check-in. Someone told you the precautions. I thought the hotel was old, so I was prepared for it to be dirty. Fortunately, it was very clean. There are supermarkets and restaurants nearby. It is very close to the JR station. I rented a private hot spring. I agreed with the front desk and registered. I can soak in it at will. It is quite clean. If possible, it is better to bring a disposable quilt cover. There are still some places that are not covered by their quilt cover. There are not many sockets, so you need to bring a multi-plug one. The quilt is based on the number of guests. Small disposable cups are given. Remember to buy some at the supermarket.

We stayed in a room called Sakura with tatami mats and a personal ryokan. The facilities are very satisfactory. The stream and garden at the entrance are beautiful, and the bathrobe provided by the hotel is a bit cold, but it's ok. I am worried that Japanese ryokans have many public toilets. (The market and the bus terminal are well accessible!) Because it is a ryokan that does not serve kaiseki cuisine, I am worried that I will have to find a restaurant at night. Breakfast is neat and delicious All in all, I am satisfied, so I will visit later 😊
