A very old hotel. The facilities are old and the environment is crowded in the old town. The narrow streets are a bit dirty. There are only three varieties of breakfast to choose from, and it is not enough to ask for more than one cup of coffee per person. The portion of breakfast is relatively small, one international taste is very sweet, one Lebanese tastes strange, and one British tastes bad.

I felt as in a Family at Cosmopolitan . Very beautiful hotel, elegant , clean and very big room. The breakfast was great and the staff very kind. At the reception there are Dany, Emile and Rima that are always smiling and resolve all the problems you might have. They were so kind to everybody and I will surely come back here because of the treatment reserved♥️♥️♥️

Rude and unwelcoming staff and generally not experienced professionals in the hospitality business. The main focus for them is the bar and the restaurant. I suggest you to focus on that because hosting guests is an art and serious business. From the moment we arrived we felt unwelcome. No explanation besides “breakfast starts at 8.30” - “oh but we leave at 8” … silence. “Here is the key to your room” full stop, nothing else. No offerings to help us bringing the luggage upstairs - nothing ! We had to figure out ourself where the hair dryer was, which was weirdly not in the room but in the common hall ( why would you not invest in 5 hairdryer so that each guest have its own ? What if we decided to shower all at once ? ) Same goes for the kettle .. The room: the design is nice though in any western country the bathroom will be considered illegal but fine.. no privacy if you are traveling with a companion. Pillows… guys ( owners / managers ) have you slept in your rooms ? Because if you did, you would know that nobody would sleep comfortably on those pillows. The noise: probably the noisiest room I ever set foot in. It is impossible to sleep and it is not only of its location but also because of the poor quality windows. I went to bed at 12 am and managed to fall asleep at 5 am out of exhaustion, only to wake up 2 hrs later. The sounds of motorcycles, honking, car big and small, people laughing, screaming or simply talking, will accompany you for the entire night. Again, when asked for assistance, they simply said “ hotel is full” no apologies or Whatsoever. The staff itself will stand outside the building careless that there are sleeping guests upstairs. Again, clearly you have never slept in your rooms because if you did, you would pay your guests to sleep there and not the other way round. Skip the hospitality business and leave it to the real professionals who truly know how to host.

Stayed there for around 10 days, it was my first trip to Lebanon. The rooms are spacious, clean, the service was great, staff were very friendly and the location is amazing. I loved it, i would really recommend. Well done you guys, keep it up :)
The hotel is located in a quirky area with many restaurants and near the beach promenade near the American University. It has 19 floors. Need to take a room with sea view !! - I had one in the 18th. Stock and was excited by the view of Beirut and the sea. The room has a small balcony and otherwise everything you need. It was clean and large enough to feel well. Breakfast is available in the restaurants on the street.
African woman & solo traveler here! My stay was an extremely pleasant one. Members of staff were always ready to assist and were all polite. The view from the rooms are amazing. There is also a rooftop pool with a view of the city, I couldn’t use it because I was there during winter, but if I return during summer, I will definitely stay at Staybridge again and use the pool.

After days of searching for good value stay in Beirut I found this hotel to be the best option available and I was not in any way disappointed Shortly after my short notice booking I was reached out to on WhatsApp to confirm my plans and an offer to help get there from the airport. Not knowing the local “ways” but having a rough idea of the cost I agreed to their good value transfer and was met upon arrival with a sign with my name. Upon check in I was greeted by Bchara who was very polite and efficient, offered me a free drink while I was waiting and then I was again pleasantly surprised by the quality of the room - very spacious and amazing view. I rarely say it these days but my expectations have been wildly exceeded
GGuest UserI stayed in a junior suite which was very cute and cozy. The only downside to the hotel is the lack of breakfast or dining options. However, it is located in a very good part of downtown barely 10 minutes walk from Zaitunay Bay which houses several cafes and restaurants. It is also a walking distance from many restaurants, the marina and pubs. Staff were very nice and welcoming. They helped me order dinner twice.
GGuest UserIt was a great stay. Overall experience perfect. Cleanliness and friendliness and service just great . I would recommend the hotel to anyone who is traveling to lebanon especially if he is going to be in achrafiyeh. Out experience with Citea was just great . We both want to thank them for everything .
Situated in the heart of Gemmayze, just a stone's throw from Mkhail, Beit Toureef offers travelers an authentic taste of Beirut. The staff's hospitality is commendable, with Sassine's heartfelt welcome and Youmna's consistent assistance making a notable difference. They go the extra mile, keen to provide guidance on exploring Lebanon to enhance your visit. The rooms promise comfort, and mornings are made special with a delightful Lebanese breakfast on the rooftop. For those seeking an immersive Beirut stay, Beit Toureef is a top recommendation!
GGuest UserReally happy with my stay at Smallville. Great service from all staff at all times. The rooms are very spacious and very clean. Love the touchscreen facilities inside the room & great amount of lighting. Balcony is a great size (it does get a bit dusty from the wind) with amazing city views. Breakfast is average but they serve non dairy milk so I was happy!! Wifi is good when connected but does disconnect daily. Would definitely stay here again!!
FFADY BARAKATBasic facilities.
Room is deluxe but old and needs to reflect more brightness and cleanliness.
Compared to the international level, the hotel needs to step up on the cleanliness and quality control.
The support was good and the efforts were appreciated but the hotel management needs to invest more to meet up with the international equivalent rate per night.
Noting that the conditions of the country are currently defying and keeping up with the basic services is nearly impossible, and the hotel managed to provide the basics from water/hot water, electricity and A/C almost 24/7.
Can order outside delivery to the room.
Suitable for competitive rates, and customers intending to spend time outdoors as for travelers, young tourists, and regional customers.
GGuest UserThis hotel is one of the best in Beirut. The location is amazing. The staff were very friendly. The rooms were comfy and spacious. I stayed on it for the first time three years ago, and since then, I have stayed there every time I visit Beirut.
AAnonymous UserI had a comfortable stay for the price
It was in front of the school, so it was convenient because there were many shopping and food options.
There are many cafes and you can see the sea within a short walk, so the location is very good.
It seems good.
What was disappointing was that I had to pay for parking even though I stayed.
HhalcatraWe spent here two nights. You can easily notice that once it had been a great hotel. Now some furniture is a little bit worn out and the glory has faded. Still, I believe it is a nice place to stay as it is situated in lively Hamra district, close to the city centre. The prices are good, I think you cannot really expect a super modern hotel in this location for 30 dollars, just be realistic. We had here breakfast - all tasty, friendly staff members but to be fair there was rather narrow choice of food. Probably it is wiser to go for breakfast somewhere else.
