"It is highly recommended and will be coming back!
-Staff were very friendly and helpful, willing to answer loads of questions and they were always available.
- The room was neat and spacious. Not the quietest though
- The breakfast area looks deceivingly small, but it had multiple options. There is a room for improvement in terms of adding more continental food items.
- Location-wise, we were super happy with our choice as it was central-ish and close to many sites, yet quieter and less busy"
"Very nice hotel
The staff are very nice
The location is amazing!!!
Big and clean room
The only downside for us was that they can't wash clothes but nearby there are self service washing machines (also have not self service but in my opinion self service is always the best)"
"Overall, it was a good experience. There's some road construction around with a few potholes, but it didn't really bother me. The service was very friendly and welcoming. I stayed in a six-bed dorm, and it was quiet, with everyone being very considerate. There's a small courtyard where you can smoke or just relax. The only slight drawback was the top bunk bed; climbing up was a bit tiring as the ladder rungs were quite narrow and made my feet sore. But you're not constantly going up and down anyway."
"The place was clean, quiet and comfortable, staff were friendly and helpful too. The location is absolutely exceptional. Across the road from Kalemegdan Park, which holds Belgrade fortress and the zoo (which I didn’t see). It is also a 5 minute walk from the city centre, the Main Street and shopping centre. If I had to improve it I would update the bathroom a little and add USB plugs in the room…that’s it."
"I think it's pretty good. The location is good, the front desk service is friendly, the breakfast is relatively healthy, the lobby on the first floor is spacious, and the overall atmosphere is very modern, but there is no gym."
"The hotel is located on the 4th floor of the mall and is on Mikhail Street. Shopping, walking to the fortress, Danube cruises and other attractions are not very far, walking is easy and stress-free. There are also supermarkets and drug makeup DM in the mall.
The design style of the hotel, especially the public area, I like the restaurant very much, full of vitality. The only thing I feel dissatisfied with is two points: the cleanliness of the room needs to be improved, the carpet looks dirty and I found a cigarette butt on the carpet after I arrived at the room on the day of check-in; In addition, the toiletries are very simple, and the shower shampoo is a small piece of soap.
Buffet breakfast is OK, continental breakfast category, juice is to be squeezed by yourself with a juicer, you need to peel the fruit yourself, squeeze the cup of orange juice is a bit hard haha 😂; coffee needs to go to the bar. It is self-service, and the restaurant staff is basically responsible for collecting used tableware. Maybe I really want to create that kind of free, casual, and undisturbed dining experience. There is a saying that breakfast outdoors is really chill 👍"
"Hotel is in good location. In city. And infront of hotel theres bus stop. Bus 27 will take you to centrum. Breakfast is good . But they dont put amenities at room. Need to ask receptionist, and receptionist very helpful."
"Pros:
- Centrally located
- Good breakfast
- Clean rooms
Cons:
- Only one small elevator
- Poor room service (cleaners may enter your room even with a sign ”do not disturb” and early in the morning)
- Some equipment in gym is not working
- Staff's English language knowledge should be improved"

The concept of the hotel was born from the owners desire to be part of Belgrade renovation impressing a luxurious but more familiar character to the city where in the last two decades only big hotels from international chains not committed with the city identity came to sight. Square Nine hotel Belgrade is a contemporary construction which integrates within the neighborhood by matching colors and respecting height of the surrounding buildings. The interior design applies materials such as stone bronze mirrors and wood cladding both light and dark colored which results in a very cozy ambient and the most elegant atmosphere.

Amazing
GGuest UserWhile the decor was modern and the cleanliness satisfactory, there were many aspects of the experience that fell short of expectations.
Firstly, the absence of appropriately sized cups for the coffee machine was a notable inconvenience. Despite providing coffee, the lack of corresponding cups rendered the machine unusable, which was disappointing.
Additionally, the bathroom amenities were subpar, resembling cheap, generic products found in supermarkets rather than the expected quality of hotel-grade toiletries.
However, what truly exacerbated our dissatisfaction was the poor service attitude demonstrated by the host. When we communicated our delayed arrival due to a flight delay, the host abruptly ended the call midway through our conversation, displaying a lack of professionalism and courtesy.
Furthermore, the inconsistency regarding the checkout time was deeply frustrating. Initially informed of a 2:00 PM checkout, we were later informed of a revised time of 12:20 PM, with the host confusing the pronunciation of ‘2’ and ‘12’. During our attempts to clarify this discrepancy, the host abruptly terminated the call, leaving my girlfriend and me feeling rushed and unduly pressured to vacate the premises.
Overall, while certain aspects of the accommodation were satisfactory, the overall experience was marred by inadequate amenities and unprofessional service.
SStef T.Very very friendly receptionists, both in the morning and evening. Very good recommendations on restaurants, places to visit and transport to get there. They know the area well!
Breakfast is amazing, variety of selection and different options every day. Nice environment both inside the restaurant and in the conservatory, where the hot dishes are served.
The room is nicely decorated. I have a room with separate stairs. The room in itself is separated from the rest to the hotel so I don’t hear any noise from neighbours, but I assume they would have a pretty good job at isolating noise. The room decoration is modern, plenty of amenities including separate bottles of shower gels, shampoo and body lotion (and even slippers!). Can’t take these for granted anymore in hotels.
Location is excellent, ten-minute walk from the touristic area (eg. Republic square), plenty of options for buses and trolley buses around.
Highly recommended and will definitely stay again when I go to Belgrade next time.

Great
TTamimWe were a family of four, 2 adults, one six year old and one 1 year old baby, apartment served us well, and we managed to cook something simple the next morning. Everything was nice and clean. The location was good because of a good sized grocery story at walking distance.
Only issue was that the entrance isn’t clearly marked, we parked our car and unloaded a bunch of suitcases at one entrance only to find out that that entrance that has the Novel Inn logo is locked and unmonitored. We had to walk around the building to discover the proper entrance, go back to reload our suitcase into the car, drive around to the other side and unload again, a bit annoying when you’ve been traveling for 18 hours and having arrived late at night with a kid and a baby.
All in all it was nice and comfortable and they even gave us a room upgrade and a baby cot free of of charge.

GGuest UserVery good small hotel, the room is not small, the breakfast is especially rich, recommended by a friend from a travel agency, the hotel dinner is also good, the price is not expensive, the two of us also had two glasses of wine for dinner, which is RMB 150. It is also convenient to eat around.
AAnonymous UserNice hotel in building housing the Chinese Cultural Centre in New Belgrade, next to the Japanese embassy. The corner room on the third floor was spacious and nicely decorated. Unfortunately the view from the windows is minimal owing to the creative design of the building facade. There was quite some noise - loud music, talking - during the daytime (9-18:00) coming from the offices on the floor above the room. Another letdown was that the only elevator was not working during the two days of my stay there (no sign of repair on the second day, despite assurances from the staff). Breakfast (largely Chinese style) was good. The ladies at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. Full marks for service!

TtravelblizzardThe hotel room was great and the location I would say it’s super convenient but the problem is that they don’t refill the water and the tea besides the first day. I was very surprised when I called the receptionist and asked if they could bring water since the cleaning lady forgot to refill it but they say it’s only complimentary on the first day. That was shocking as it has been the first time ever to see this. Also when booking on trip.com you see that it says “Welcome Fruits” but the food only fruit I saw was at the reception on a bowl display. The ladies at the reception during the day they were amazing and super helpful but the men from the Night Shift are quite unfriendly. Overall I would recommend it but I would encourage the hotel to work on their complimentary water as it is nice to come back after sightseeing and drink some bottle water.

GGuest UserThe Riverside Hotel truly exceeded our expectations! Living in a hidden gem on the banks of the Yulong River, you can gaze out the window at the crystal-clear water and karst mountains. The infinity pool is incredibly romantic. The Gongnong Bridge Wharf is a two-minute walk away, making it a convenient place to take the shuttle bus for rafting. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the service is attentive, and the Lijiang mandarin fish in the Chinese restaurant is especially delicious. Highly recommended for those who enjoy nature and delicious food!

NNevennaExceptional! If you want to be introduced to a true spirit of Belgrade, this building of historical significance with its glorious architecture will have you feel like you have been accommodated by a family. It’s so beautiful, the staff is very friendly and warm, they will assist you with anything you need and welcome you with great enthusiasm! The room is clean and comfortable, well equipped and with a lovely furniture that follows the spirit of the place. Location is amazing, just 20 minutes away from the city center. The garden within the object is lovely and a great place to hang out with your friends and family, get a good cup of coffee or a nice meal with a low price. Thank you so much for being such a perfect host and we will surely choose the same stay again when we come to Belgrade ☀️ ❤️
柳柳純一Good side. The view is good on the high floor. You can see the night view depending on the direction. It is far from the Belgrade bus terminal, but it is not painful to use the bus No. 31 running nearby (it is hard to hit the morning and evening crowds). Conveniently located near the hotel with a large shopping mall. There is a mini refrigerator. There is a surveillance camera at the entrance and elevator, and there is security.
Disappointing aspect. Wi-Fi is available but unstable. Breakfast gets tired of staying consecutive nights. The breakfast room on the 18th floor has a good view but the glass is dirty and not clear. Overall, the deterioration is conspicuous.
GGuest UserInitially, I came to the address, went to the reception where they gave me a WhatsApp of a person who redirected me to another address.
They did not answer my email before check-in, but they answered quickly in WhatsApp upon arrival.
The apartments are comfortable, everything you need is inside. But they asked me for more money than was written in the reservation, I had to sort it out with trip.com support and the owner in the WhatsApp chat. On the last day of checking, we agreed on the amount that was written in the reservation.
The heating was bad in early April 2025. There were no accessories for cleaning the room.
