"I stayed at Ibis Hotel Makkah for 31 days, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. The hotel offers everything a long-stay guest could need — clean, comfortable rooms, friendly and professional staff, and a calm, peaceful atmosphere that makes you feel at home.
The housekeeping team did a wonderful job keeping the room spotless throughout my stay, and the front desk was always helpful and polite. The location is convenient, with easy access to transportation to the Haram. The breakfast was also good and consistent every day.
After staying here for a full month, I can confidently say that Ibis Makkah provides great value for money and reliable comfort — highly recommended for both short and long stays in Makkah."
"The hotel shuttle service was great and it moved on time. We stayed at 9th floor and housekeeper guy was so kind and smiley. There is mosque in front of hotel that was also awesome. The only problem that I had was to reach to hotel by phone before I arrive there. Lastly, the gym is out of service now. It is not a big issue but a remark."
"We were traveling for Umrah so we had to frequent Haram quite often. Although a bit far from Haram but the hotel shuttle is very well managed and frequent. The hotel is clean and has all the amenities of a 4-star hotel."
"I had a wonderful stay at Jabal Omar Marriott. The service was top-notch, the rooms were super comfortable, and the overall experience was really delightful. Highly recommended.
I'll definitely be visiting the Marriott again in the future. The combination of great service, the lovely upgrade to a suite, and the overall comfort made it an unforgettable stay."
"Everything was good. My recommendation to the hotel is to offer separate feet and face towels. One more thing is that there was a demolition of some building in the vicinity behind the Address Jabal Omar Hotel that caused a lot of dust. Though not the hotel's fault, it could complain to the authorities or tell the construction company to use screens or mesh to keep the dust inside the demolition site."
"My stay at Le Méridien was amazing. The room was clean, spacious and very comfortable, with everything well prepared. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices, and the staff were so friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Truly one of the best hotels I’ve experienced – highly recommended!"
"Everything was good, albeit the toilet in my room was broken but the staff fixed it in a good way. The location is totally great, only around 7 minutes by walk to Haram which made me never miss my praying time there."
"I booked the hotel for my parents, *************, I’m so happy they were comfortable and enjoyed their stay. very clean and near to haram That’s exactly what I wanted for them.and also the service is excellent, I recommended worth elite hotel for any one want good service and nearest place to masjid, May Allah accept their Umrah."
"I recently stayed at this hotel with my two sons and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The room was spacious, spotless, and beautifully decorated, with all the modern amenities you’d expect. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the housekeeping staff ensured everything was always tidy and refreshed. The hotel’s facilities were good as had a gym and even a games room. I did not try their breakfast this time around but would do next time. Our flight was later on in the evening and after requesting, the hotel let us checkout late which was good of them. I definitely would come back here again to stay as it is also value for money for what you get.
Any negatives - none except the hotel is few miles away from the Haram but the hotel provides a shuttle bus to and from which the buses go on time so this made it easy."
"Very good hotel, near to Masjid Haram, clear view of Kaaba, the sound of Asa coming from the Masjid 5 times a day, if there is a chance, I will go again, very worth the money spent, can use personal time to do worship together, very worthwhile."

MMarziraHotel Review: Raffles Makkah Palace
My recent stay at Raffles Makkah Palace was absolutely outstanding, offering a seamless blend of luxury, thoughtful touches, and exceptional service that made our experience unforgettable.
From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly by the reception team and delighted with a complimentary upgrade upon check-in. The upgraded room was not only spacious with breathtaking views but also impeccably clean and beautifully maintained, reflecting the hotel’s high standards.
A special thank you to the reception manager, whose professionalism and welcoming demeanor made the check-in process smooth and set a positive tone for our stay. Their attention to detail and commitment to ensuring our satisfaction were truly appreciated.
One of the thoughtful touches that enhanced our experience was the provision of bath salts, allowing us to unwind and relax after completing Umrah. It was a small but meaningful gesture that added to the overall sense of care.
The service throughout the hotel was exceptional. The housekeeping team was proactive, consistently checking in to ensure we had enough towels, toiletries, and other essentials, contributing significantly to our comfort.
Breakfast was another highlight of our stay. The breakfast service team was attentive and welcoming, ensuring we were comfortable and well taken care of. They even provided a walk-around tour of the buffet spread, introducing us to the menu and explaining the dishes. The breakfast theme was thoughtfully curated, offering a wide range of delicious options to suit every palate.
Desta and Sandhy stood out for their exceptional hospitality. They were incredibly helpful, attentive, and proactive in anticipating our needs, making us feel truly valued as guests. Hajar also deserves special recognition for her patience and creativity in resolving our requests with practical and thoughtful solutions.
The in-room dining team, especially Farouk, provided excellent service. Farouk’s attentiveness and efficiency ensured that every meal was delivered promptly and with care, enhancing our overall experience.
Raffles Makkah Palace sets the gold standard for luxury hospitality. With its outstanding service, thoughtful gestures, and exceptional team, it made our stay unforgettable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Makkah and look forward to returning for another incredible stay.
AAnonymous UserThe rooms and bathrooms are very clean i really appreciate it
The receptionist is helpful and kind
The bellboy and all staffs there also nice and helpful
I like everything in this hotel but it will really nice if they have access to car/taxy parking because i had problem with that but the staff helped me a lot
Thank you
NNor Huda************* we had a very pleasant stay here in Le Meridien Towers Makkah. It’s not as crowded and the shuttle to Haram is 24/7 with hardly any waiting time when we want to board the bus to and from Haram.
We were pleasantly upgraded by the hotel and they even gave us complimentary tea on our first night. As we reached very late at night, I was grateful that I’m able to get some quick snacks for my young child and that the shops remain open then.
We didn’t ask for housekeeping to come and clean our rooms but they were attentive and prompt in their service. Insya Allah we may stay here again for our next umrah.
GGuest UserGreat food, great service and very good location. Clean and good speed WiFi.
Special thanks to the staff and in particular Mr. Abd ElFatah ElZamby for a very delightful stay and their excellent service.
SSonila AzharWe had a nice stay in the hotel, service is good , staff is helpful and friendly, we didn’t have any issues during our stay. Location was not ideal, about 25 min walk, if you take shuttle, then it’s 15 mins to Harram. Road works still going but they tend to finish and underpass should be running in Ramadan which will then reduce travel time for sure.
GGuest UserI stayed at TIME Ruba Hotel & Suites and while the staff were very kind, helpful, and respectful, the overall experience didn’t meet expectations for a hotel of this category.
Breakfast was repetitive with very little variation from day to day. When it comes to the room, I booked a suite (their best according to reception), yet there were several issues:
• Stains on the carpet
• Burn marks and damage on the curtain
• Dirty couch
• The balcony door wouldn’t close properly
• Poor maintenance overall (e.g., torn fabric, damaged furniture)
Additionally, I found a bug on the bed and experienced a lot of mosquitos, possibly because of the faulty balcony door.
The swimming pool experience was also disappointing. The sauna was out of order, the steam room was permanently closed, and the jacuzzi wasn’t working. The male pool was delayed in opening, yet it closed on time—meaning less swimming time than scheduled.
The shuttle service to Haram lacked clear communication. Neither the reception nor the driver provided proper guidance on where to find the bus at the Haram, or where it stops. When asked, the driver just vaguely pointed in the general direction.
I believe the hotel staff are doing their best, but it’s clear that they are not given enough resources or support from management. This place has potential but currently falls short in many ways.
GGuest UserWael in reception was fantastic for organising my stay at short notice when I was struggling contacting hotels between 3 am and 4 am in the morning. He went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. Also, I would like to mention Saif Islam from housekeeping who provided fantastic service and looked after my needs as and when required. I have stayed at the Clock Tower, Hyatt, etc in the past and while these hotels were a little closer to Masjid Haram, I would still highly recommend Sheraton mainly because of their exceptional customer service.
GGuest UserWe’ve stayed at this hotel multiple times, and it never fails to impress us. The reception team and other staff are incredibly helpful and welcoming.
The rooms are perfect—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The housekeeping staff is very helpful and always available during the day, ensuring everything stays tidy and pleasant throughout the stay.
The hotel offers comfort and service comparable to well-known properties like those in the Abraj and Safwa Towers, but at a more affordable price. It's located on Ibrahim Khalil Road, with plenty of desi restaurants nearby—ideal for South Asian travelers.
It’s about a 10-minute walk to Gate 1 (King Abdul Aziz Gate) of Masjid al-Haram, which is manageable for most visitors. However, guests using wheelchairs or with mobility issues might find the distance a bit challenging.
Overall, this hotel offers a budget-friendly yet charming experience with all the essentials. Highly recommended for anyone looking for value, cleanliness, and a convenient location during their stay in Makkah
GGuest UserIt was very good decision to stay in Park Inn during Eid as others shuttle service drop on middle of the road but park in Shuttle service drop us near the Haram so that we can walk and enter haram without any issue. It takes hardly 15 mints from hotel to reached Haram.
