"One of the best hotel stays in my many years of travelling. Can’t fault at all the place, decor, people, amenities, bed, showers, food at all and the thoughtful small details in the room made the stay very comfortable."
"I booked the hotel for my parents, *************, I’m so happy they were comfortable and enjoyed their stay. very clean and near to haram That’s exactly what I wanted for them.and also the service is excellent, I recommended worth elite hotel for any one want good service and nearest place to masjid, May Allah accept their Umrah."
"Nice location with budget friendly even the staff over the counter is very cooperative, check out time flexibility up to 2PM is very much favorable even they can permit upto 3PMif they can..."
"we really enjoy our stay in Swissotel. We celebrate our 25 anniversary in the best hotel in Makkah with the best view in the world. So Gratefull... *************.
We come around 11 am and we can check in earlier. We stayed for 4 days 3 night. *************. Every things is Ok.. Food, Staff and the room it self, especially the view. Insya *****, We will come back again in Swissotel with the View of Kabbah😍❤️"
"I stayed here in 2019 and returned on December 4th, 2025.
From the reception to check-in, the service, and the room, everything was excellent. I loved the room with a view of the Haram and slept soundly without any noise disturbance. There's also a prayer room on the 3rd floor. The hotel has a wide variety of international buffet food, and the service is outstanding. Staff in every department are always quick and helpful. I liked and was most impressed with the Hilton Convention Jabal Omar."
"DoubleTree has always been my choice since i first stayed here in 2022. This is my 3rd time staying and the level of hospitality and service is so wonderful. I tried other hotels on my last visit in January 2025, but it wasn't great, so here I am back at DoubleTree. The location to the Grand Mosque of Makkah is fairly reasonable - one can walk (via Hilton Convention Hotel) - sloped surface, or take the complimentary shuttle that stops at Hilton Conrad on Jabal Omar. Wear good walking shoes.
Mr. Ahmed Elsayed at the restaurant is a top-notch manager. I only mentioned something to him, and he had his colleague make it especially for me. That was totally unexpected and they both went out of their way to ensure that it was a problem. They did it again the next day. Such personable service from both gentlemen and the others at DoubleTree Makkah.
The room was spacious, clean, bathroom had Crabtree & Evelyn toiletries. The bed was super comfortable and I slept very well which is something rare! And of course the signature cookies i love. Thank you!!"
"The hotel is good. Location also is walking distance to haram if you not fit to walk, u can get taxi across of the road abount 10sar to haram. The drop off point is near 79 gate. So convenient."
"This was my one of many stays at Voco Makkah Hotel with my family. I cannot express enough how amazing experience we had once again with the Hotel, Staffs and all amenities it provides. The Hotel Management with its extremely warm ambiance, upgraded our room for our stay and I must thank sister Sabha (Hotel Manager) for facilitationg this for us. All the staffs including the floor supervisor (Mohammad Shahidullah), cleaners and bell mans (Monjurul Islam was a Highlight) were outstanding in what they do and extremely helpful at all times. A Super Stay at Voco, Makkah. InShaAllah hope to be staying with you again when we visit Mecca next!!!"
"We’ve been to Mecca five times before, but this was the smallest room we’ve ever had, which was a bit disappointing. The toilet was even smaller than the one at the Madel Hotel in Madinah, and there was a drainage problem that left water pooling after showers. Breakfast was fine, but it got annoying when waiters kept coming to take our plates and cups even though we wanted to reuse them. The lift was another frustration—each button worked independently for each elevator, so we had to press them all to get one to come. The staffs are however friendly and nice. We stayed here for its proximity to the mosque, but we’ll probably think twice before booking again."
"Jumeira Jabbal Omar is a beautiful hotel Maashallah. The hotel, is very modern, clean and has an array of shops in the local building for quick access. It is a 4 minute walk from the haram and is in close proximity to gate 79 umrah entrance and also to clock tower.
The staff are very friendly and helpful.
Whilst the haram is close, you should still try to get to the haram early for prayer times as sometimes certain routes are closed thus redirecting mutamireen to alternate areas which may not be where you intended to be.
The one negative about the hotel is that it is located in an area of the haram that is not easily detected on google maps thus unable to order an uber from this hotel as a pickup point. This is however the case with several hotels close to the haram.
This was otherwise a lovely stay and in shaa Allah looking forward to returning soon."

Great
GGuest UserI love to stay in Le Meridien Makkah. Eventhough the room is not so Big, but quite enough for two of us.
Location is perfect, very near to Haram. Just walk around 2 minutes. I love the view from the restaurant at 21st floor, We stayed at level 19 and the view of Haram is very beautifull and Magnificient. *************.
The Hotel is clean, amenities complete. The hotel is not so big, so it is not crowded. Breakfast is OK. Over all OK. Maybe Le Meridien will be our choice for next Umroh. ***********...
SSmileeeThe check-in process was smooth and quick, which was much appreciated after a long journey.
The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, offering a perfect blend of comfort and elegance. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring restful nights, while the bathroom was stocked with high-quality toiletries and maintained pristine by the housekeeping staff.
One of the highlights of our stay was the dining options available. The on-site restaurant served a variety of delicious dishes, both local and international cuisine, which made every meal a delightful experience. Additionally, the breakfast buffet was extensive with a range of options to cater to different tastes and dietary needs.
The hotel's location is another significant plus. It's conveniently situated close to the main attractions, making it easy for us to explore Makkah without any hassle. The shuttle service to the Haram was punctual and efficient, greatly facilitating our visits for prayers.
Moreover, the hotel amenities were top-notch. The fitness center was well-equipped, allowing us to keep up with our workout routine even while traveling. The Wi-Fi was reliable and fast, which made it easy to stay connected with family and friends.
Overall, I highly recommend Midan Hotel Makkah for anyone looking for a wonderful stay in this holy city. The exceptional service, luxurious accommodations, and excellent amenities truly make it a standout choice. Looking forward to another visit soon!
NNor Huda************* we had a very pleasant stay here in Le Meridien Towers Makkah. It’s not as crowded and the shuttle to Haram is 24/7 with hardly any waiting time when we want to board the bus to and from Haram.
We were pleasantly upgraded by the hotel and they even gave us complimentary tea on our first night. As we reached very late at night, I was grateful that I’m able to get some quick snacks for my young child and that the shops remain open then.
We didn’t ask for housekeeping to come and clean our rooms but they were attentive and prompt in their service. Insya Allah we may stay here again for our next umrah.
GGuest User“Not recommended if you are an elderly.”
It takes about 10inutes walk to reach the perimeter of haram. Nearest entry wld be Babu Umrah. Unfortunately on my visit the area is closed for.constriction. need to walk further around the perimeter to reach king Fath gate. It may be tiring for an elderly. But the hotel is very comfortable. However my room is by the road side so there is no stop honking. Saudi drivers seem to like honking. Luckily I am not a light sleeper. After long day Umrah/iktikaf you probably sleep through... Shout out to Younis for being very nice helping me around, giving advice and directions and help to get and bargain taxi ride for me.
GGuest UserThe location is great, but there’s a bridge that makes it difficult to reach the hotel’s front door. However, the hotel provides a bus service to and from the Haram, which makes commuting much easier. I initially arrived by taxi, and it was challenging to access the front entrance.
GGuest UserWael in reception was fantastic for organising my stay at short notice when I was struggling contacting hotels between 3 am and 4 am in the morning. He went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. Also, I would like to mention Saif Islam from housekeeping who provided fantastic service and looked after my needs as and when required. I have stayed at the Clock Tower, Hyatt, etc in the past and while these hotels were a little closer to Masjid Haram, I would still highly recommend Sheraton mainly because of their exceptional customer service.
GGuest UserI stayed at TIME Ruba Hotel & Suites and while the staff were very kind, helpful, and respectful, the overall experience didn’t meet expectations for a hotel of this category.
Breakfast was repetitive with very little variation from day to day. When it comes to the room, I booked a suite (their best according to reception), yet there were several issues:
• Stains on the carpet
• Burn marks and damage on the curtain
• Dirty couch
• The balcony door wouldn’t close properly
• Poor maintenance overall (e.g., torn fabric, damaged furniture)
Additionally, I found a bug on the bed and experienced a lot of mosquitos, possibly because of the faulty balcony door.
The swimming pool experience was also disappointing. The sauna was out of order, the steam room was permanently closed, and the jacuzzi wasn’t working. The male pool was delayed in opening, yet it closed on time—meaning less swimming time than scheduled.
The shuttle service to Haram lacked clear communication. Neither the reception nor the driver provided proper guidance on where to find the bus at the Haram, or where it stops. When asked, the driver just vaguely pointed in the general direction.
I believe the hotel staff are doing their best, but it’s clear that they are not given enough resources or support from management. This place has potential but currently falls short in many ways.
GGuest UserWe’ve stayed at this hotel multiple times, and it never fails to impress us. The reception team and other staff are incredibly helpful and welcoming.
The rooms are perfect—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The housekeeping staff is very helpful and always available during the day, ensuring everything stays tidy and pleasant throughout the stay.
The hotel offers comfort and service comparable to well-known properties like those in the Abraj and Safwa Towers, but at a more affordable price. It's located on Ibrahim Khalil Road, with plenty of desi restaurants nearby—ideal for South Asian travelers.
It’s about a 10-minute walk to Gate 1 (King Abdul Aziz Gate) of Masjid al-Haram, which is manageable for most visitors. However, guests using wheelchairs or with mobility issues might find the distance a bit challenging.
Overall, this hotel offers a budget-friendly yet charming experience with all the essentials. Highly recommended for anyone looking for value, cleanliness, and a convenient location during their stay in Makkah
GGuest UserIt was very good decision to stay in Park Inn during Eid as others shuttle service drop on middle of the road but park in Shuttle service drop us near the Haram so that we can walk and enter haram without any issue. It takes hardly 15 mints from hotel to reached Haram.
GGuest UserMirror not available in Room & Hair Dryer Not Available in Washroom except this excellent location & Receptionist is very polite… will stay in future.
