Amazing
GGuest UserThe ground-floor reception and two direct exits to the Grand Mosque make this hotel incredibly convenient and a big reason I would choose to stay here again. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with plenty of food and shopping options nearby, and the housekeeping staff are attentive and helpful. The dining area is large and well organised, with three buffet stations. The wide selection of pastries was a nice touch, though the breakfast dishes were mostly repeated and long queues often formed at the egg station. Including local desserts like kunafe would add a lovely local flavour. It was also a little sad to see food being wasted during breakfast, and having recycling bins near the lifts could help promote more sustainable practices.
GGuest UserWe stayed for one night and we reserved 2 rooms. We got joining rooms and Haram view without asking which was a nice surprise. The rooms were spacious and clean. We ordered room service late at night after completing Umrah. The food arrived very fast and everything was delicious. Conrad is always consistent every time so I would highly recommend. The location is superb.
MModathirThis hotel is located within king abdulaziz WAQF, Makkah clock towers. Its few meters from the holy mosque
There is public transportation at the basement
Hotel staff we very friendly and ready to help with a big smile on their faces. I enjoyed an early check in (which was rejected via the app ) prize still above average since its a 5 star hotel and located just few meters away from Almasij alharam
MMas Yunanmy family and I stay at Pullman hotel to perform Umroh. The hotel located directly in front of Masjidil Haram and it is very helpful, especially for my little daughters.
anything we need is ready in the mall located in the building. The house keeping staffs were all very polite. One think to be improved is the elevators, sometimes we need to wait for the elevators, because the people visiting the malls are also using the elevators.
GGuest UserSecurity staff, specifically the younger ones are quite rude. They aggressively single you out if you don't look stereotypically wealthy and demand your hotel card at C level.
The pictures here are after I told them to clean the bathroom. Not sure what the cleanliness standard is at this hotel when it comes to bathrooms.
I also pointed out to what looks like an insect breading nest, the cleaner spinner me a story and said it was paint.
Now that I've got the negatives out of the way. We lived the location. The room itself was up to standard, just one day, I had to call numerous times to get it cleaned.
The food at the restaurants were top quality. Really enjoyed it.
II live to travelDoubleTree has always been my choice since i first stayed here in 2022. This is my 3rd time staying and the level of hospitality and service is so wonderful. I tried other hotels on my last visit in January 2025, but it wasn't great, so here I am back at DoubleTree. The location to the Grand Mosque of Makkah is fairly reasonable - one can walk (via Hilton Convention Hotel) - sloped surface, or take the complimentary shuttle that stops at Hilton Conrad on Jabal Omar. Wear good walking shoes.
Mr. Ahmed Elsayed at the restaurant is a top-notch manager. I only mentioned something to him, and he had his colleague make it especially for me. That was totally unexpected and they both went out of their way to ensure that it was a problem. They did it again the next day. Such personable service from both gentlemen and the others at DoubleTree Makkah.
The room was spacious, clean, bathroom had Crabtree & Evelyn toiletries. The bed was super comfortable and I slept very well which is something rare! And of course the signature cookies i love. Thank you!!
SSabShaariAs per previous review. For this booking, thanks to Mr Haitam for assissting me. I got a room near to the lift. Thank you so much 🙂 On average, i waited less than 1 minute for the lift. Extra 2-5minutes from the hotel to reach Kudi bus station by the shuttle bus. 6-8minutes walk from Kudi bus station to the mosque. Going back from the mosque to the hotel takes a bit longer time during peak hours. Overall, i highly recommend this hotel.
GGuest UserThe hotel shuttle service was great and it moved on time. We stayed at 9th floor and housekeeper guy was so kind and smiley. There is mosque in front of hotel that was also awesome. The only problem that I had was to reach to hotel by phone before I arrive there. Lastly, the gym is out of service now. It is not a big issue but a remark.
GGuest UserI stayed at TIME Ruba Hotel & Suites and while the staff were very kind, helpful, and respectful, the overall experience didn’t meet expectations for a hotel of this category.
Breakfast was repetitive with very little variation from day to day. When it comes to the room, I booked a suite (their best according to reception), yet there were several issues:
• Stains on the carpet
• Burn marks and damage on the curtain
• Dirty couch
• The balcony door wouldn’t close properly
• Poor maintenance overall (e.g., torn fabric, damaged furniture)
Additionally, I found a bug on the bed and experienced a lot of mosquitos, possibly because of the faulty balcony door.
The swimming pool experience was also disappointing. The sauna was out of order, the steam room was permanently closed, and the jacuzzi wasn’t working. The male pool was delayed in opening, yet it closed on time—meaning less swimming time than scheduled.
The shuttle service to Haram lacked clear communication. Neither the reception nor the driver provided proper guidance on where to find the bus at the Haram, or where it stops. When asked, the driver just vaguely pointed in the general direction.
I believe the hotel staff are doing their best, but it’s clear that they are not given enough resources or support from management. This place has potential but currently falls short in many ways.
GGuest UserIt was very good decision to stay in Park Inn during Eid as others shuttle service drop on middle of the road but park in Shuttle service drop us near the Haram so that we can walk and enter haram without any issue. It takes hardly 15 mints from hotel to reached Haram.
