the pool is so long and is the main highlight of this resort. rooms are quite spacious. mattress topper makes sleeping really comfortable. resort look spectacular in a lot of ways. highly recommended.

This is a lovely hotel set in beautiful grounds on the beach front with easy access to bars and restaurants. Breakfast is varied with a mixture of Thai and western dishes and is served in full view of the sea and beach which is very peaceful and relaxing. There is an egg station but it can get very busy at times when the restaurant is full but there was never any problems in getting a table. The juices although refreshing appear to be more like cordial than fresh fruit juice and coffee is brought round by the staff who will refill your cup when necessary. There are several pools on the grounds and lots of sun beds to choose from. I did note however that people were claiming sun beds early in the morning which is unusual for Thailand. The centre pool is massive and ideal for swimming. The rooms are a little dated in dark wood Thai style but are comfortable, quiet and the air conditioning is good. The staff are all very helpful and appear happy in their work. There is a safe in the room and a balcony with two comfortable chairs. There is daily maid service but it appeared to be quite late in the day sometimes when we had retired to the room for a rest.

Fabulous little resort. We have been travelling Thailand for 5 months and this resort is in my top 2 as everything was perfect. Stayed in a pool villa. The pool is really for sitting however very good for cooling off with a drink. The room was spotless and big. The bed and pillows were so comfortable and clean. Bathroom had everything and was spacious with huge shower. The main pool is very clean and modern looking. Staff super friendly. You will need a car or taxi or scooter. We had a car so no problem. The resort is at the north end of the area. Was a little tricky to find but turn left at the road sign and drive down the track you come into the back of the resort. Plenty of parking. Breakfast was served to you. Great coffee! Standard Thai Brekky eggs toast fruit etc enough to start your day.

Great location on a lovely beach. Only 5 minutes into Khao Lak in a taxi (100bhts) or 150bhts for 4 people. Rooms were very spacious. The bed was very hard BUT ask reception and they will have a mattress topper put on straight away, this was much better. Bathrooms were a little dated but everything worked. Found it a little odd to have the wardrobes, kettle and fridge in the bathroom but they are in a cupboard so had no issues with it. The aircon kept the rooms super cool. Pools and bar were lovely, although it was a bit of a sunbed challenge to get a towel on while we were there. The massages in the hotel were super. All the staff were helpful, and seemed very happy We would most definitely go back there, a very relaxing, tranquil, peace of heaven

Wow , what a find ! Have to admit , for price we paid ,our expectations weren’t that high ! How wrong were we ! Great room , ok not the most ‘ up to date ‘ but was big , great air con , huge bed , good shower , nice balcony , fresh sheets , towels and pool towels daily , Wi-Fi was good . Breakfast , what a great choice , yoghurt , fresh fruits , cereals , pastries , fresh egg station , with beautiful fresh eggs , bacon , sausages , a curry featured every morning ( delicious ) good coffee , only slight downside , the fruit juices , more like squash and very sweet . 2 nice pools , one on the bungalow side , this has plenty of shade , should you want . A 5 min stroll to a nice beach , 2 sunbeds and umbrella , 200thb Short walk from Fanari you have an abundance of bars , restaurants and massage places and the night market ! Staff at the hotel are lovely , very friendly , anything you ask , they try and oblige . Value for money at its best ! Well done Fanari ! And see you next year we hope !

We spent our last 5 nights of a 2 week holiday in The Khaolak Paradise Resort. It was pretty much perfect! As the title states, there are lots of steps and steep bits getting to and from the lobby and some of the rooms towards the back of this place. But - even though I am not the most mobile - that wasn’t an issue as the benefits of staying here outweigh the issues with steps. We were upgraded to a larger “jungle” room. It was huge and had everything you want for sure. Comfy beds and all rooms (I think) have a balcony. The aircon works great and the only issue we had was the fan making a noise at night - so we switched it off as you don’t need it with aircon. The grounds and gardens are beautiful. We saw the garden team every day, making sure everything was great. The housekeeping team were also excellent. In fact - every member of staff were superb. Our first night was the Thai celebration of Loy Krathong - so there was live music followed by the whole staff doing some type of entertaining, be it dance or just saying hello. The rest of our time here flew by, even with us doing little more than lounging by the pool or on the beach. The pool is quite large for a resort like this - and you can get some cheeky locals sharing the pool with you! (Water Monitor Lizards) … even though there is a lovely pond with plenty of fish right next to the pool. The food is excellent, with a very good breakfast buffet. There is a happy hour from 4.30pm … with 40% of many cocktails and beers. If we ever return to Khoalak … this will be the place we stay. Their airport transfer is also very reasonable. Thank you to all at Paradise … it certainly was Paradise for us for 5 nights.

We upgraded from 2 suites from a package TUI booking pool villa 838 costing about 42K THB for 14 nights in November and December 2022. 2 adults, and 2 kids age 17 and 10 so the privacy of a private pool was one of our highlights of the holiday. This is such a peaceful resort with beautiful surroundings and very helpful staff. Notably Emme, Gift, Mark, Tee, Big, Yuda, Tar, Pecky and Winai. This resort is not within walking distance of town / Biang Nang market area, and a taxi to go there will set you back 300 THB each way from the guys on the beach outside the gate. That's the going rate both ways so don't be conned by a chancer. In the resort there's 2 restaurants, one's a buffet and the Napalai on the villa side of the river and you can eat from both if you upgrade. There are 2 swimming pools, several bars and organised trips to temples, islands, local markets, animal sanctuaries offered from the front desk or holiday rep so you aren't cut off from civilisation by being in such a remote area surrounded by beach and jungle, which is actually a plus point if you're a surfer, nature or beach lover because this resort scores a 10 if that's what interests you. We didn't travel to Thailand for the nightlife, just to chill in some winter sun. There's ample entertainment just 10 minutes away from the resort, in town or Memories bar, but if you want boom, boom, boom and all night drinking go to Phuket instead. I'd definitely return, but not with children.

Huge, beautiful property with all the amenities you could want in a resort. Spacious, modern and luxurious rooms, a rock climbing wall, basketball and tennis courts, games rooms, multiple restaurants, swimming pools, kids club and even a mini water park for the kids. Staff were very friendly and professional, food was delicious and the spa treatments were top notch as well. If you are considering a family getaway in khao lak l look no further.

Stay in this beautiful resort only if you’re ready to be spoilt by the amazing hospitality of their staff. It’s located in the middle of nowhere, but that doesn’t matter as the resort itself has everything you’ll need. We took the all in package. Rooms are luxurious, very clean, very well kept. The resort itself is very well kept, pool, beach, bar, playroom. Very family friendly. Stayed here twice, both during peak (March) and low peak(June), both occasions felt very different, i personally preferred the peak, however one thing that did not change was the hospitality of their amazing staff! A special shout out to Kwan for professionally handling the tantrum of a hungry 35yr old (me). Great selection of food in their restaurants too. And when you need a laugh, Sit@Aon will crack you up. Will always come back.
