"It's a great hotel, there was no shuttle during our stay so we had to drive to dinner it was not walking distance. Very clean, comfortable. We enjoyed the ******. The food at the ****** like most places was not the best but overall we were happy with the trip."

"Detroit locals stayed in many hotels, the room was very clean, especially the bedding was very soft and clean, the room was a bit small, the downstairs was a bit noisy but did not affect the experience of staying. The color matching of the bathroom and shower room is very distinctive. Downstairs is the service desk and a place for coffee snacks. You can sit in the seat outside the door, bask in the sun, drink coffee, enjoy a daze in a clean environment and enjoy the local life atmosphere. ."

' The service is 1st rate. where the staff anticipates your every need and efficiently seques the transitions of luggage transport, on-the-spot valet parking, friendly 24 hour shuttle service within a 5 mile radius. ' ' The hotel is in the heart of Greektown offerings, and within minutes of all the arenas and sports stadiums, as well as the performing arts snd stage houses. ' The Athenium will delight and pamper you!"

"The furniture was badly scratched and damaged. The carpet was nearly worn out. The desk chair fabric was worn, and even the trashcans were rusted inside. Overall, the room needed to be remodeled. My room was cleaned once after the first day of a five-day stay. The cleaning staff didn't come until 2:30-3 pm on days three and four. I attended training classes and events between 9 am and 2 pm. I will probably not book a room at a Wyndham Hotel again. I should have taken photos."

"I have never stayed in such a good hotel in my life. The room has everything you need, clean and tidy, and complete accessories. The staff is also very good. They let me check in 6 hours in advance. I was touched... I usually don't write reviews, but this time it really exceeded my expectations. If I have money, I will stay in this hotel for the rest of my life"

"I spent one night at the Hollywood Casino at Greektown. I did not visit the casino. I was looking for a nice place to stay for the night. The hotel grounds were 4-stars. I arrived around 7 PM. It took some time to check in because I had to wait for a number of others who qualified for the VIP check-in line. I stayed in a basic, twin queen room. The room and bathroom were nice and modern. Shortly after getting into my room, bright exterior lights turned on - shining in the direction of my room. I couldn't see what they were illuminating, but if I had to guess, it was perhaps the hotel name written on the exterior. Those lights stayed on all night. The drapes didn't completely cover the windows, so my room was illuminated all night. The room stayed one temperature despite what the thermostat was set to. There was an intermittent hum coming from the in-wall heater as if it was revving up. I ultimately slept with earplugs. I am have been able to overlook the illuminated room, dysfunctional thermostat, and intermittent hum if I was there for other reasons than to sleep, like to visit the casino, or go out."

"This hotel was the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at in my life hands down. It was clean and comfortable, the rooms are designed so different than any hotel and the paintings along side the building are incredible. The decorations in the lobby are one of a kind and all the pictures of Detroit in the halls are something great to Look at! The food was excellent! Never had anything like that! One in a life time experience!! Loved the court hard where you can play bags and hang out, outside. Such a great place! Loved it! Looking forward to going back soon!"

"This hotel is very new, clean and tidy, with a good environment and a good restaurant! The location is in a relatively urban area. On the first day of arrival, I went to an Italian restaurant nearby and waited for 30 minutes for a seat. It felt quite fresh!"
