A shocking discovery. When going out of a Home Depot and some spare time I noticed that right in the middle of a cattle ranch 30 right across the street there was a modern building and 4 or 5 levels parking lot. Picked by curiosity entered and discovered a huge gaming place with three thousand. Gaming Machines, one very modern and elegant Steakhouse, an oriental food restaurant, one Italian Restaurant offering three types of pizza types( Neapolitan, NYC, California) a nice looking Hotel, with all kind of amenities such as nice, clean well appointed SPA, outdoor swimming pool etc etc. it has become one of our favorite places in Sonoma. Conveniently situated at less than 40 minutes from San Francisco. ( shuttle service to the city every half an hour) in sum. A place to visit if you are in the area.

We first became acquainted with Guerneville in a search of great places close to Santa Rosa. We would be in the SR area for a few days for business and wanted to see what Guerneville was all about. We fell in love!! The Cottages on River Road were the perfect setting for our few days in Sonoma Wine Country!! Surrounded by wineries and amazing restaurants, markets, and breweries that have been there for decades, we felt like we entered Heaven. In fact at one point we looked at one another and said ”Did we just get to Heaver?” The grounds of The Cottages were pristine, and welcoming with many areas to sit and relax and enjoy the perfect weather! Our room was better than the photos online! Deanne, the manager went above and beyond in every way!! She was so helpful with basic recommendations in and around Guerneville, and went a step further with secrets that made us feel like locals! We were looking at homes while we were there as well and were working with a realtor, but Deanne knew of a couple of homes that our realtor did not know of, and one of them was a property we had seen online and loved! Everyone there was required and gladly complied with COVID precautions and after we left we realized we had not been able to feel that relaxed outside of our home since March!! It truly was a relaxing and rejuvenating stay and we can't wait to get back!!

It's always nice to stay at new hotel. Everything is new and I particularly like the design of having small night stands next to each side of both queen size beds (bigger one in the middle). Everyone has outlet to charge the phone including one wireless charger alarm clock (on my son's side). He just put his phone on top of it for charging, very cool! Home2 does not have stove like Homewood, but you can use microwave. We didn't cook anyway. We had dinner both nights in the hotel room. Sitting comfortably on the sofa with nice big table. We watched movie and enjoyed delicious Thai and Japanese food from nearby restaurants both walking distance. Great experience! Will come back again if need to visit the place.

I recently spent the weekend here for a Sonoma wedding, and I loved this hotel. The breakfast spread was fantastic, for starters. Lots of variety. And the hotel staff were on top of it, clearing tables quickly and making sure everything was restocked to keep pace with the demand. Love the lobby and the lobby bar, too. 24/7 coffee, so easy to grab a cup and chill, maybe watch TV. The room & especially the kitchen were clean and well appointed. It was great to be able to store our local winery whites in the fridge, for a nightcap on the room balcony. And then there's Healdsburg and the surrounding area: charming, full of great food & great wine, and scenic. The perfect getaway, whether for a weekend or longer. I highly recommend this hotel. Oh, and can't forget their convenience shuttle. A Mercedes van, no less. And the gym! Not some typical, dumpy hotel gym with one treadmill, a physioball, and a few free weights. This gym makes it possible to get in a decent workout!

GGuest UserThe trip started out poorly because Trip.com's payment was invalid. We had to text your staff for close to an hour before we could check into our room, so were late meeting our family members for lunch. The women at the front desk were terrific and were doing everything they could - they weren't able to give us a key until the payment was straightened out. So we weren't very happy with Trio.com's service. How could something like this happen, where your payment wasn't valid? I would like a discount on my next trip due to that problem.
Once we were in, the service was excellent. The room was clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable. The pool and hot tub were open until 10pm and were warm and clean. We loved soaking and swimming each evening after visiting with family.
The only curve ball was that the firepit wasn't operable. A man said it was due to the weather, but it had been clear and dry so that didn't make sense. Therefore, we had to drink our Christmas Eve Prosecco (which we bought at the hotel snack bar!) in the room, since it was too cold to sit outside without a firepit. Outside of that, it was a terrific visit and we would stay again.
We do hope that Trip.com makes good on the billing issue so we will use your site again.

We had two gorgeous cabins during our stay and both were well appointed and beautifully decorated. Tanner and Taylor both went above and beyond to make our stay perfect and delightful in every way. Room and linens/towels were immaculately clean. Love that the room had NO carpet - laminate floors in the whole room. Fridge, microwave, and coffee maker in room. Had no issues with anything - everything worked and was in good order. As others in previous reviews have said, sound travels into the room very easily from the hallway - but it didn't bother us as we weren't in the room much and are heavy sleepers. Our room door had seen better days and could stand to be replaced, but nothing about it affected my opinion of the room/property. Front desk staff for afternoon check-in was polite and accommodating. Morning check-out staff was friendly and personable. As with other Choice hotels, there is a free hot breakfast. Here is where the hotel could improve - the selection/choices were very slim (one pan of eggs, one pan of sausage links, a waffle machine, one carafe each of leaded and decaf coffee, a paltry selection of bread/baked items, 2 sugary cereal options, one type of milk only, and sugar/sweeter/creamer packets). This was the first Choice hotel I've stayed in that didn't at least have fruit, yogurt, hot cereal, or liquid creamer of some kind. There also wasn't anyone attending the dining area to ensure guests had what they needed and items did not run out. The location was just fine for us; easy on/off the 101 freeway. If you are a Choice Gold or above member, there are designated spaces for you. Parking was fine and plenty of space in the lot. Overall, great stay and would consider staying again if we travel to Santa Rosa in the future.

The bedding is relatively neat, but when you open it to sleep, they find that the quilt to be covered is not as white and clean as the surface. The shower in the bathroom has been dripping. No matter how you turn it off, you can't turn it off, the light in front of the desk cannot be turned on, and the noise of the refrigerator can surpass the sound of cars outside the window. The price is affordable, which is the only thing that is remarkable. Breakfast is available but very simple, no hot food. If there are other options, I suggest to compare other hotels

Convenient location right off the freeway, next to Kaiser and close to a lot of wineries. This is a great place if you’re traveling with family. Spacious rooms, small, kitchenette, complimentary breakfast, Wi-Fi and parking. They have laundry onsite as well.

The staff has changed and they have made large efforts to be more particular about those they allow to stay on the premises. Quiet nights. Everything in the room works and upon arrival and it is clean. Clean towels and toiletries available everyday. Free wifi and it works well. The shopping is near, just over the freeway. I save on time and gas traveling to the stores. Plenty of places near to order in if you choose. The water is clean. It never smells like smoke in the rooms. Smokers have to smoke away from the building. They are pet friendly. My car is safe, there are cameras in the parking lot and the office.
