First time in Saint Augustine with my wife and kids, and we decided to stay here after we saw the IHOP with the Days Inn, which we had never seen before. Wow, we just cannot say how happy we were with our stay here. Our room was 206, and it was very clean and extremely beautiful. The entire hotel, inside and outside, was very clean, and they have everything in the lobby, which was a very big plus. The young manager who worked there was very professional, and he treated us as if we were his own family members. He gave my kids candy and my wife and me hot coffee the next morning from the IHOP restaurant. After we came home, we received a very beautiful greeting card from the hotel management for staying at the hotel. We would rate this hotel 100 stars. Thank you Days Inn Hotel, for making our stay the best.
Very nice room that is clean, spacious, and airy. On the second floor, there is a handy access to a balcony to step outside and observe the area. The staff are polite and accommodating and the breakfast is adequate. During my stay, a hurricane was approaching (see the photo!) so the pool was closed and some amenities were not available, but still had a delightful stay! Fully recommend this hotel to anyone in the area. Plus, downtown and historic St. Augustine are worth a visit, there are a lot of things to see and enjoy.

We made a reservation online and asked to stay on the top floor so that we would not be near pets as this is a pet-friendly hotel. We like to stay at La Quinta’s as they are usually quiet and the beds are comfortable. They did comply and put us on the top floor, however there was a family on that floor with 3 dogs in their room. We complained to the front desk and were told they were full that night and when that happens they allow pets on floors other than the designated area (first floor) and in rooms that are not designated for pets (which to me means they don’t care about guests with allergies). The clerk said “they are clear down the hall from you.” These were not well behaved, quiet dogs. When with the owners, they were barking and when the owners weren’t present, they barked even more. At 6:30am the owners went to breakfast and left the dogs in the room, so they of course were barking and disturbing other guests. If putting pets on other floors in non pet designated rooms is now La Quinta/Wyndham’s policy, we will not be staying at La Quinta again. This was the second time in a week that we had this problem in a La Quinta while traveling.

Excellent
We spent 4 lovely and relaxing nights in the lower room of the beach house. We enjoyed the privacy and roominess of the room, with access to the main living area upstairs. The upstairs bedrooms were charming. The glasses in sunroom had a lovely sea view. Andrea, Cindy, and Lily made us delicious and filling a breakfast every morning. They had wonderful suggestions for things to do & see and restaurants. The pool and the hot tub were perfect. The boardwalk was a quick walk to the beach. One word of advice, if you’re going to walk in the beach at night, be sure to mark, or otherwise keep up with the beach entrance to the boardwalk. The Beachfront B&B was definitely a romantic stay. We will stay there again and highly recommend it.
GGuest UserOn July 5, I booked a room for 2 nights at this location through the Hilton website. I purchased the Hilton honor advanced purchase rate (which is non cancelable). Today the Hilton honors rate is $30 less on the Hilton site and much less on 3rd party sites. As a Hilton member where I booked events and meetings at Hilton properties, I thought there will be no problem with a rate adjustment (right?) I am a HONORS MEMBER. WRONG!!! The run around and wait time I experienced was more than an hour. I spoke with 3 people who all blamed the next person. The first woman said her screen wouldn't allow her to change the rate so she sent me to Louis at the Hilton advanced purchased dept. Louis said there was nothing she could do because it was their policy not to adjust rates on a pre purchased reservation. She also said the first person gave wrong information. I asked to speak to a supervisor. This woman named Satima said because I purchased the room on July 5 and today was July 17 that was more than 2 weeks ago. Wrong....do your math that's 12 days ago. She worked in the ”Diamond department” which she said was part of Hilton Corporate. So each employee blamed something for why they couldn't adjust the rate. Now when I called the hotel directly at 904-280-1661 they don't answer and eventually it goes to a disconnected cell phone number. So what are the advantages of being a Hilton Honors member? Nothing as far as I can see and their customer service is horrible. Stay at Marriott or Hyatt or any place else but not at a Hilton. You would think that after Covid they would do anything to keep business. This is just really bad business and a scam to keep money. Next I will call my credit card company. Just thought I should share this because being ripped off by this company is something that people should be aware of and should steer clear of pre paid rates and anything Hilton.
GGuest UserService was ok. Requested a wine opener from the front desk. Was told to get one from the bistro. Went to the bistro was told I had to go back to my room on the 4th floor and bring the bottle of wine down so they would open it. Could not give me a wine opener to use during my stay. Big market for stolen wine openers I guess. Other than that shower head covered in mold. No other issues. Definitely a three star hotel with no aspiration of moving to the next level.
GGuest UserCheyenne at the front desk was awesome took care of all our needs. The people who gave out the food in the breakfast line I give a heads up on the black heavy set man who was friendly and professional. Not so much for the girl older girl in cutoff shorts who help him. Room was so clean and the pool awesome. Friendly housekeeping staff made us feel good. We stayed in room 131 and the only problem was the door to the bathroom could not close. Staff went out of their was to drive us anywhere we needed. I loved this place and would never look for any other place. Location is perfect right next trolley for tours and they pick you up at the hotel.
GGuest UserWe really liked this hotel. The rooms are a bit old fashioned but they are spacious, clean and well maintained. The air conditioner also works well. The breakfast is not much to mention (coffee, donuts and some fruit), but you can't expect everything for the price. The hotel is within walking distance of the beach (which you can also use by car) and a five-minute drive from the bridge to Saint Augustine.
AairportHILove this location - parking is so easy !! I can walk everywhere - and rooms are spacious ! Breakfast was wonderful and loved the table touch by staff - I felt so special . This area is so fun - I very much enjoy coming to this area for business as I always have exceptional dinner options close by - The staff has been very hospitable w my recent visits - I can see improvements w each stay Keep up the great work !!
We weren't expecting much but the rolling carts at 3am and people outside arguing half the night ruined our sleep. Room did look clean but honestly looking at poor repair job in bathroom showing water stains, mismatched paint, poor patches, etc just makes it look like the owner gave up on the place. Ssriously, $100 wouldve at least made the bathroom respectable. It's a shame. Only 10 from amphitheater and so close to beach there is a lot of potential. We expected more from a Quality Inn.
