Not a hotel
It wasn't as advertised there are no in room items everything is down the hall and shared with others community shower and bathroom this a ROOMING HOUSE in the HOOD

Very nice people
We were not able to stay the night because of an emergency. This hostel was very nice and clean. Lucy and Robert went out of their way to help us. Thank you so much. I highly recommend everyone to stay at this Hostel.

Definitely recommend
The hostel was so nice. Very quiet inside and extremely clean. The beds were comfortable. We stayed on a Saturday night and the area was very quiet. It was a shared bathroom, but I always had it to myself. We didn't use the kitchen area, but everything was very nice.

Beautiful place that is clean, modern & spacious
My husband was reluctant when I told him we were staying in a hostel, but the property exceeded both of our expectations. It's a beautiful place that is clean, modern, spacious, comfortable and quiet. The hosts are friendly and our little girl absolutely loved playing with the hosts little boy. The only tiny hicup we had was we didn't receive the check in details and had to ring them. However, within minutes we were inside the they came home.
Location is perfect for exploring the bars around the area. This was our second visit to Clarksdale and would definitely recommend a visit to Ground Zero.

My first time staying here but won’t be my last.
My stay here was very comfortable, clean and welcoming. I was able to meet the owners and they were nothing but welcoming and provided absurd customer service. They made sure we felt comfortable. I never stayed at a place like this. It was different and very easily to adapt to. My overall rating based off my experience staying here is a 5 out of 5.

Don't Be Afraid
The reviews on cleanliness are confirmed! My first "hostel" stay in 60 plus years... we rolled the dice and were a bit worried until we walked in and then... WOW. Beautiful layout and next time we'll have a group.
Common "bath" areas (M/F) were spotless and comfortable so to speak; i.e., plenty of privacy.
Should we head back to Clarksdale for another "blues adventure" we will stay here paying money rather than a free/points stay at Hampton.
I'm not a big NOLA fan but sometimes business calls; next time I'm there I will check out their hostel there.

My husband and I are in our sixties and had never stayed in a hostel. I was a little leery about us fitting in but we had a wonderful stay. The property is well kept and the rooms were nicely appointed. This is a great place to stay if you would like to park and walk around the town. My only suggestion is there is one section of the stairs that could really use a handrail. Wonderful visit and I would definitely stay here again
