Perfect location but didn’t like having to rent beach chairs and umbrellas from the hotel I was staying at.
Especially when hotel charged $40 a day resort fee

We stayed at the Hilton Clearwater for 6 nights. We have stayed in some amazing places all over the world, but I have to say the staff here were some of the nicest, kindest people we have had dealings with. Big shout out to the gorgeous DELIAH on reception, who went above and beyond to help us with our room, she's a true credit to this hotel. We had lovely hugs from her as we left too. Also shout out to Lena on concierge, who was also a delight. The location of this hotel is truly amazing, and the sunsets are beautiful. We were in room 618 and were lucky enough to see a stunning orange moon rise (see photos). Why not a 5*.... sadly the parking chaps let us down. On our last day, we asked for our hire car, so we could drive to the airport, and our car turned up literally covered in bird poo... as it was a hire car we asked for this to be cleaned, which didn't go down well. When we got it back, and went to get in it it was full of sand on the drivers side... anyone hiring a car knows how particular hire car companies are... we politely asked where the car had been to get this much sand in it and told it blew in, and that the hire company wouldn't care less about it, and then walked off, leaving us to try and sweep out the sand with our hands, whilst being conscious of the time for our flight! So our review would have been a 5* but valet guys let us down considerably..

We paid extra for a Gulf view room expecting to look out of our balcony and see the beach but we see the roof of a lower level building and the beach from afar. I’m very disappointed and feel scammed based on the pictures provided. We would’ve NEVER chose this property if we knew this was what we were going to get.

We visited Clearwater on a day trip whilst staying in St Petes, and absolutely loved the town vibe so decided to stay for a couple of nights! We popped into a few hotels to see what was available, cost etc. When we walked into the Hilton, we were immediately hit by a lovely citrus fragrance and an extremely welcoming front desk attendant called Dylan. He was so friendly and helpful and showed us a couple of the rooms. He even picked up on my husband's Welsh accent and introduced us to a long term employee from Wales who was in the back office! Just so friendly and welcoming. We decided to book there and then, to return the following night for 2 nights stay. We did not regret it. The hotel was lovely and our room overlooked the pool and the long white sandy beach which stretched for miles. The room was spacious, location was excellent, close to shops, restaurants etc. Beach access was brilliant, and the beach was always nice and quiet. The pool was perfect for our 3 year old daughter to splash around in, and it was never busy. The staff, including Denzil, were very helpful and friendly. Philip was particularly helpful when it came to serving ice cream to our daughter by splitting into two tubs, and then came round poolside with ice cool towels - these were most welcome. As an independent travel agent, I will be highly recommending this hotel to my clients, so much so, we are returning ourselves as a family in August 2025 , just waiting for the rooms to become available! Thank you for making our stay a comfortable one.

Great staff and were extremely attentive! We had no issues, and were very impressed with how great they took care of us. Housekeeping did an AMAZING job, the pool staff was fantastic (Gabby was top notch), the front desk and bell hop were very accommodating & friendly! The Hibiscus Spa (Jennifer and Jose) were superb! Thank you Clearwater Hilton!

I travel a lot and read reviews. I will say the customer service I received at the Hilton Clearwater was outstanding! We ran into some trouble with travel on 2 occasions and everyone o encountered was above and beyond helpful. The rooms are dated but overall an amazing experience.
