Definitely one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in and the best hotel from Accor Hotels. I had accidentally booked the wrong dates for my stay. As soon as I realised it, I contacted the hotel. The staff helped me to change my reservation dates. While on my trip, due to the strikes in France and problems with the train connections I had to postpone my meeting online. I sent an email to request to check in early since I will be having my meeting at 1 p.m. Ms Wulff made the necessary arrangements prior to my arrival. On my arrival I was able to check in early and able to proceed with my online meeting. Without her help I would not be able to conduct my meeting. On the next day, I had another online meeting. Her colleague made the necessary arrangements so that the housekeeping team could get the room cleaned before lunch and my next online appointment. Till date I have stayed in a number of hotels from the Accor Hotels group. In comparison to M Gallery am Konzerthaus in Wien, Hotel Mondial am Dom in Cologne exceeds my expectations. Professionalism The staff at the reception were not only friendly and good at what they are doing, they are also willing to help and went an extra mile to make things possible. I would not have been able to get my work done if they did not help me. Even when checking out, the staff was professional and showed interest to assist customers whenever they dan. Splendid Location Situation a few minutes walk from the train station and the main city area, is this hotel definite one of the most strategic location in Cologne. View of the Cathedral I managed to get a glimpse of the cathedral from my room. Dinner I had dinner at the hotel restaurant. It was not only affordable, the service was impeccable. The waiter even suggested where I could sit so that I can get the best view of the area. Awesome! I would like to thank the remarkable staff for making my stay in Köln memorable und unforgettable. Ich habe bei der Buchung das falsche Datum eingegeben und musste meine Buchung ändern. Die Mitarbeiterin. hat mir geholfen meine Buchung zu ändern. Wegen Streiks und Probleme mit Deutsch Bahn musste ich meine Termine verschieben. Ich habe das Hotel gefragt ob ich früher einchecken kann um mein Termin online wahr zu nehmen. Frau Wullf hat alles für mich arrangiert damit ich meinen Termin online fortsetzen kann. Am nächsten Tag habe ich auch einen Termin online. Der Kollege von Frau Wulff hat mit dem Housekeeping-Team koordiniert damit das Zimmer von 13 Uhr fertig gereinigt ist. Dadurch könnte ich meinen Termin um 14 Uhr wahrnehmen. Stopped in May 2019. Considered Cologne as a point for basement. Hotel is not from cheap but very good rooms (only not to take the most budgetary). Comfortable bed. Good furniture.Not far from the cathedral. In foot shopping availability. Breakfast at 4. opposite (I think in the building new hotel) parking (2 level) for 4 days - 50 euros. But for some reason all the time the lift was barracked. All the time I had to call for support or go to the resepshne.

I’ve had a wonderful stay at the Rescidence Hotel. Staff was very friendly and kind, the room was clean and there was enoough space for 2 persons. The bed was a bit hard for my preference but we stayed for just two nights so it was ok. The location of the Hotel was perfect, between the bars/pubs and the centre. Allthough the busy environment, we were not bothered by noise. I would definitely visit this Hotel if i’m going back to Köln.

The old house is decorated, the aisle is very narrow, the elevator is enough for two people, it seems that the cockroach can be on. The room is spacious, bright and clean, very good; there is a coffee machine at the front desk to pick up hot water, the front desk service is very good; Located in the old town square, not the closest to the Cologne church, but the dining is very convenient. The best hotel in Germany. The western restaurant on the second floor is especially amazing. You need to make reservations in advance at night. The details of the service are great. The hotel is the official designated accommodation hotel for the European Cup. I was lucky enough to see the England and Belgium players.

Quietly, conveniently and serenely stayed at this hotel for the past 6 days. Good to recommend this hotel as a priority choice especially for cologne travellers who preferable to stay away from bustling areas. An enjoyable back and forth daily walk from hotel to train station whereby some good restaurants are the best solutions of our hungers. Highly recommended to stay and definitely will stay again in the future. Thank you..

The hotel is quite central in Cologne. It also has probably given the possibility to breakfast directly in the hotel the reservation. However, already at the arrival, this was shown at the reception before and after me, there were probably noise differences between the bookings of the arrival guests and the understanding that only the German-speaking lady had at the reception. My colleague has clearly ordered breakfast with, but he had to call it loudly next morning. I myself, I'm very much in hotels on the way I've experienced extremely rarely that staff always strongly before yesterday each other disputes about courses that should be practiced. My room itself was awaiting and probably had the flair of the 1980s. Electric cable simply sticked to the wall, hoping that they would not solve again. In general, I would not book this hotel anymore. What the reason staff and guests are constantly crying negative.

Had a wonderful 3-night stay at this lovely property. Located just a stone’s throw away from Köln Messe/Deutz station, which was very convenient for us who travelled directly from Frankfurt Airport. Its surrounding was peaceful and quiet. Checking-in by Clemens was a breeze. Clemens was friendly and answered all our queries with patience. He also gave us helpful information on dining options in the vicinity. Our courtyard facing Studio room was spacious and quiet, had every amenity we needed for a comfortable stay. We used the washer and dryer every night and it was definitely a great to have. USB charging ports and power points could be found on both sides of the bed and at sitting area. Internet speed was fast. Was able to screen mirroring with my device and hence we were able to enjoy watching Netflix on the big TV screen. Daily housekeeping had also done a wonderful job of keeping our room clean, replacing our used towels and replenishing the laundry detergent. There was a small indoor pool but we didn’t have the time to use it. Our room didn’t come with breakfast, but we did try it out on one morning. Found that it was a tad overpriced at €22 as the spread wasn’t big and choices were pretty limited, the only disappointment we had of this property. Overall a fantastic stay and is value for money. Would strongly recommend this property to anyone who is visiting Cologne.

Well, the apartment is good, a bit bigger than a normal hotel room, but by no means ample. There are some irritating failures of design: Most pulling knobs are difficult to pull, being a smooth cylinder or similar. Only the fridge door has a proper pulling shape, so they were aware of the usefulness of the design, but chose not to do it on the rest. Also, the microwave has a grill, but also a notice on the door that says never to use the grill because it will start the fire alarm ??? Easier to buy non-grill microwaves, I'd say. They have something about fire alarms, because they make you sign a document where you declare to know about them and specify the fines for setting one accidentally. It discourages you from cooking at all :-) Also the bed can be raised and you get a sofa . The bed surface is one plank, it's comfortable, but the two ”arms” of the sofa are long and hard, easy to hit in the night if you rise from the bed. But these are generally minor inconveniences. The apartment looks clean in general, but there was a big exception. We noticed during the first night a strong old-sweat smell when in the bed. Investigation proved it to come from the mattress protector, which was also a bit brown when we took the sheet out. Clearly it hadn't been washed. I don't know what is the general policy in hotels about mattress protectors, but this one was obviously dirty, and they didn't wash it. We didn't take the issue to the management, we were tired, we just took the mattress protector away and slept without problems afterwards. So we don't know which would have been the reaction to this. but that shouldn't happen anyway.

We had 5 rooms during Orgatec Exhibition. Hotel was new, employees were kind, breakfast was good and in general it was a clean hotel. It is not in city center but really easy to reach Rudofplatz or Heumarkt with 2 Tram Lines and it takes only 5 stops. Also there were some restaurant and supermarkets around for our needs. Therefore we enjoyed our stay in hotel. Only thing which was negative, you need to inform reception each morning for cleaning rooms. Otherwise it was not cleaned. (we are not informed about this during check-in so we learned that after first day) Despite we informed that for each day, second day of our stay 2/5 rooms are not cleaned. Except this, it was all well clean
