The room facilities are seriously outdated and the breakfast experience is average

Hotel room was like a storage room in the attic. The room was really on the top floor, with sloping ceilings. Dark and anything but clean. At least sheets and towels were clean. In the bathtub there were leftovers from the previous guests, including hair, shaving foam residue, sand and used, smeared shower bottles. The floor wasn't clean either. Minimally equipped, TV the size of a small laptop, no channels/channels/cable so unusable. Air conditioning: old, noisy, not adjustable or switched off. Insufficient exposure. This hotel, or at least what we saw of it, is in no way a 4 star hotel. The almost 200 chf are not justified. The photos that can be seen of the hotel on the website were certainly taken by a professional photographer who takes really great photos. The reality is different. Possibly there are nicer rooms in the hotel, because there are 2 wings. However, our experience was very bad and I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. The pool is extremely small, lots of uncomfortable chairs to sit on but only 4 loungers. Good location, right next to the old town. On the positive side, the receptionists were very friendly but didn't ask at the end if we liked it either. Possibly because they already knew the answer?!
