We were first drawn to this new hotel in the center of Copenhagen from internet research. Impeccably presented with beautiful interior design, this relatively new 5 star property is located on the water and well positioned to allow for exploration of the city. Suited to tourists as well as business guests the hotel offers well appointed rooms, comfortable beds, excellent towels & robes and attentive service in all departments. Please note, if outlooks and positioning within the hotel are of importance to you I would highly suggest contacting the hotel to get advise on room selection. We booked a Premium category room but made a poor selection based on the limited explanations on the hotel website and ended up on the ground floor facing an office building with parked vans, workers taking smoking breaks and a complete lack of privacy. The premium room category provides ample space with 53M squared but the descriptor does not state this room is a low floor room without a view. You need to book the room 'with a view'. I honestly don't recall that being offered from the list of available rooms when I booked so its quite possible the 'view' category had sold out. In any case, only certain rooms will offer views of the river so it is best to coordinate with the hotel if you have any questions. We stayed one night in our original room but the situation was not ideal - a combination of our poor selection and lack of detailed info on the hotel website. Mehmet Ali, one of the managers was most accommodating and assisted in moving us for our 2nd and 3rd nights to a room offering a spectacular view. We are very grateful for the kind and generous upgrade as this certainly was not our focus in trying to change our accommodations. Mr. Ali is dedicated in his role and wanted to ensure we had a good experience at the NH Collection Copenhagen. He personally saw to it that we were comfortable and indeed we were. Breakfast at the hotel is what one would expect from a fine hotel and the content of the buffet and overall service was a great way to start the day. We did not use the fitness facility but did enjoy the hotel bar where cocktails are professionally mixed and served by a friendly and competent team. We would have no hesitation in booking this hotel again for future visits to Copenhagen.

Overall, our experience was very good. The location did not have to say, scenic spots, bike rental is a short walk away. The supermarket is not too far, walked about 10 minutes. The front desk is very busy, but very compassionate and listens. Although sometimes not necessarily helpful, it is very kind. The sanitation is also quite good. There is no smell in the bathroom. Although the shower room is small, it has a very interesting style, which makes people feel unpleasant. The overall environment is very quiet, but it is recommended to bring earplugs to prevent people from walking around at night to affect sleep. Compared with London, the height of the bed is luxurious, you can sit upright, have a computer or something. Each bed has a table lamp and charging location. There is a locker in the room, which is very convenient. The best thing is food. The common kitchen is only available after 8 o'clock, which is a bit inconvenient. I rushed to the early flight and didn't even have breakfast. But the food provided by the inn, we ordered Pizza, and the two of them ate very well and were very delicious. Only 95 kroner, which is really the first of conscience, and also gave a bottle of Beer. Not far from the inn, opposite the Waffle, there is a Thai restaurant. The Golden curry is really delicious. My daughter is the most picky in the world. I basically finished my Curry and her fried noodles, and we packed a little bit. The boss actually made the lunch box a takeaway. The original was too small). When packing, she gave another rice intimately, which is equivalent to sending us a meal, she is really grateful. A meal of 200 kroon is considered very suitable. But it was a little far away to open the door at 4 pm. All in all, living in this inn is quite cost-effective. Our experience was very pleasant.

So we decided to stay for a week to explore Copenhagen. The hotel is the best location for what we wanted to do. We booked a ” small double” and when they say small they mean small. Coffee in lobby weekdays, but not tea. Bed nice. Bathroom nice. TV selection for English speakers dismal. Internet good. Front desk ladies awesome. The men...not so great. Windows are either black out covered or no privacy. A light filtering shade would be great. Tub pretty treacherous. Very slippery, sides very high. If you have mobility problems not for you. Our first impression was standing at the bottom of the marble stairs...maybe 9 or 10...with our suitcases and all the guys at the front desk ignoring us. So we lugged them up. Then happily told elevator closed for maintenance. Seriously? Luckily there were 2 elevators. Our last impression... they called us a taxi but did not tell us when it is called it is fixed price. Twice as much as suggested on the internet. I am not a business traveler and would have liked to be told upfront. So unpleasant surprise. Overall good bed, clean and neat, great location.

A charmer, the staff was caring and helpful, the outdoor seatings, the rooftop garden, even the street it was on, added to the feeling of being someplace special. It's close to everything but away from the noise and crowds. Like all hotels, some rooms are small and I'd recommend the large deluxe room- it was wonderful. I found the staff always eager to try to solve whatever problems might come up. Coming back to the hotel felt quite personal. And made Copenhagen feel that way.

The location is excellent, in the walk distance to everything (attractions, restaurants, grocery stores, metro station). The room was comfortable, the amenities were standard (many small bottles of shampoo, conditioner, lotion and hand wash).

The hotel is placed in a very good position and provides very good breakfast; these two are the only advantages. Rooms are not very clean ( you have to request cleaning, otherwise , In the name of ecology , water and disinfectant products are saved… but you pay as if the work is done) The bathroom is very small No cnn or bbc channels are on tv , and we are in a 4 stars hotel! I had the bad chance to meet very rude people who made noise on the floor shouting and Slamming doors all night long ; It was very upsetting. The price is quite good considering position and quality of breakfast. Receptionists very kind and polite . Anyway: a four stars hotel is supposed to offer more quality services and facilities.
