Because we have two children, we were upgraded to a deluxe suite with two single beds for an additional 35 euros. It was so cute. The hotel is huge and the environment is super beautiful. Children can also rent bicycles for free and watch ponies. Apart from the relatively remote location, there are no disadvantages and it’s very cost-effective!

Absolutely incredible place to stay. I worked closely with management, primarily Scott to plan the most incredible proposal. I could not speak more highly of how incredibly friendly all the staff were during our stay. The attention to detail was something I had never really experienced before. Now I am engaged and it could have not gone better. Huge shout out to everyone but primarily Scott. Would not hesitate to coming back and staying again.

A beautiful 5-star resort. We happened to go to view the art exhibit that is offered every year. It was wonderful. The resort offers something for everyone. There were many children staying also so it is not just for adults. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, the bathrooms quite big and luxurious. The food was excellent. We heard that Terre the Michelin star restaurant is amazing but it was closed on the night we visited. The bartender knew how to mix drinks!

We spent three days at the resort. Everything was perfect and so relaxing, I’m sure being mid week and out of school holidays helped but it was excellent.

We loved our two day stay at the hotel and would have loved to be in a position to stay longer. We loved wandering around the grounds and walking through the adjacent woods. The facilities and our room far exceed our expectations.

The Castlemartyr is one of the loveliest hotels we have stayed in. From the moment we arrived the atmosphere was warm and friendly, and the level of service was exceptional from every member of Castlemartyr’s team - friendly, responsive and efficient. We had a suite in the newer part of the hotel and it was very comfortable, well equipped and nicely appointed. The gardens are magnificent and lovely to wander about in. Thank you for making our stay so memorable.
