The owners comments to the reviews on here, which are clearly AI generated, seem to promise change but clearly nothing is really progressing at this hotel. All of the reviews are true- this is a budget hotel and has its issues, but you get what you pay for - this was the cheapest all inclusive winter sun holiday we could find at the time of booking. I’m not going to repeat the comments already given, as they’re all true. A Christmas decoration fell off the ceiling when I was in breakfast and was inches away from hitting my baby in a high chair. The management team made zero effort to apologise after the matter. The lifeguards on our first day had no issue with my son going down the water slides, however on day two and from then on they didn’t let any kids under the age of 9, regardless of height, go down. I complained to the receptionist who told me to tell my holiday rep as there was nothing they could do with them being an external company. I asked to see the owner, who was in the building, and he refused to speak with me and instead passed the message on to say I should speak with the holiday rep. I did this, I explained that I had no issue with the safety rules of the slides, but I had a big issue with the way my complaint was dealt with. The holiday reps then asked the hotel to give a gesture of goodwill to us, which the hotel refused. All we wanted was a face to face apology that their customer service was below standard on this occasion, and my holiday rep explained this to them. I’m fully expecting a reply on here which seems to allude to progression in the future and a tone of “we will strive to be better or learn” instead of taking some ownership that their customer relations is poor. It’s a shame- I don’t mind being at a budget hotel, but their lack of ability to deal with anything in person is disappointing and a reply on this review is too little too late. It means nothing, I’d rather they didn’t reply but instead email me- I completed their satisfaction survey and still haven’t had a reply.
