Best Corralejo Spa Hotels

I rated a 3 because we stayed her last year and gave it a 5. It is a different experience. Clearly the leadership are delivering a different message to the staff. Last year they couldn’t do enough, we were blown away by the unique experience. We were so excited about coming back, but sadly we’ve been disappointed on numerous occasions. It’s just another hotel now. The staff appear gutted, I can only think this is the corporate experience as opposed to the previous boutique experience. It’s a beautiful hotel with great staff, but sadly they are not able to offer that unforgettable experience we had last year. It’s gone from a customer focus experienced to a revenue focused corporation. We felt like we were getting in the way here, that can be uncomfortable I was told that if I wanted to keep the iron for more than an hour I would have to be charged 9 euros….. in a 5 star hotel!! Bizarre.

We came in early November for 2 weeks. Our cases came through very quick and our coach was waiting for us. A nice drive through the area with a few drop offs along the way. Took about. 45 mins. Check in was easy with pleasant staff. Our room was 4116 with our patio area level with the garden and activities pool. A nice spacious room with plenty of storage and hanging space. A lovely comfortable bed and a large bathroom with walk in shower. Towels changed most days although a bit on the thin side they did their job ! Plenty of sunbeds around the many pools, we used to sit up by the glass panels above the the Volley Ball / yoga area., lovely and sunny for most of the day, plenty of shade from the Palm trees if you want it. Food was good, main Buffet served lots of interesting meals, Breakfast was the usual cereals fruit and cooked, pancakes, coffee and hot water from a machine but good. Evenings Yes there was meat fish and pasta every day but obviously made differently. Pizza, and stews, different potatoes and fries and rice. Sushi Fresh Prawns etc . The deserts were amazing so much to choose from along with plenty of cheeses, Jelly and ice creams. We didn't use main Buffet at lunch time. The pool bar / Restaurant was open for lunch from 12- 30 pm and drinks from about 10 - 30am lots of salads, burgers, fries and other hot food. Entertainment was good most nights, we had some amazing singers while we were there. if we didn't fancy it then we would walk in to Town about 20 mins or so, plenty going on there. We also walked down to Music Square/ harbour several times gets very busy. Plenty of shops and bars. Great place for live Rock music Friday nights turn left when get to the town, a bar called Retro. ! Across the road from the hotel is a place called Sunset Bar, where they have live music or Disco's Sunday evenings are heaving ! All in all we had a great time and came home with amazing sun Tans. Just returned from a 4 night break at the park playa zensation, fantastic hotel with very friendly staff especially Samba the barman and Gino the entertainment manager! The whole place is spotlessly clean. The all inclusive package was very good value, some branded spirits included also the food was excellent. We will most definitely return 👍
