We were here on our honeymoon, we booked the trip trough a travel agency and was not mentioned anywhere our reason of travel but when during check in the kind gentleman asked if we are here on our honeymoon (mostly jokingly) and we said yes he arrenged us a champagne and fruits as a honeymoon gift on the next day. It was definetly not necessary, but he was really nice. And this is our main experience with the staff and the locals too, they are really kind, thoughtful and helpful people. The programs at the pool are great, the animator team is really cheerful and energetic and generally they are really nice to talk with after the various programs. The hotel has different evening activities like magic shows for example, and also shows targeting the younger audience so they does not left out as well. The food is great, there's many amazing option every day, even if someone has a special diet they can find multiple option to eat. We also did a photoshoot with Georgi and Leo, they were really kind and we had a really good time both during the photoshoot and when we watched back the pictures. They were amazing, thank you very much Georgi. <3 We wish the best for both of you and everyone who works at this hotel, we did not left yet but we can't wait to come back again, it was a truly amazing experience.

The hotel itself is a proper 3 star place- that’s to reflect on facilities and the hotel grounds, but because of great staff and their awesome personalities, I have rated my stay 4 stars. Moreover, nice bits of green space here and there with flowers and palm trees, no issues with sun lounges, gym and jacuzzi indoor swimming pool and beach ball, tennis available . Most of the guests are elderly Spanish and German with families, sparingly mixed with French. Not many British people were there, what I found actually great! I could finally start learning Spanish and the hotel guests and the staff were very happy to support me on that. My husband speaks basic Spanish so we made plenty of friends during our stay. The hotel itself needs little bit updating, but that’s not a big thing to be honest, it’s not something that will make anybody’s stay awkward. The staff are amazing and very friendly to BRITISH people- as long as you respect them, they will make your stay best possible you can imagine in this hotel. Miguel (Milo) the gentleman who performs all the entertainment- what a lovely guy! He keeps going whole day, 6 days per week to keep guests happy! I have won plenty of sparkling wine bottles while playing their famous bingo 😉. Food is always fresh and it’s typical Fuertaventuran cuisine - with touch of European elements. So if you don’t like goat meat, salads and Spanish version of seafood, then that’s not place for you. There is abundance of wine (all 3 kinds available from tap) sparkling wine for breakfast if you wish- that’s an old Spanish regional tradition, beer unlimited from the tap and unlimited local spirits ( shocker). So if you don’t know Spanish culture at all and you expect everyone to serve you because you are British, then this place is not for you. It’s not a commercial stay at Royal Suite, which I really appreciated. I will definitely go back there. I have also forgotten to mention about beautiful UNESCO beaches nearby the hotel (10 min walk). Going to this part of the island your experience will be more nature related, so if you looking for enjoyment and flocks of people hanging around, then book in your stay in northern part of Fuertaventura.

This is our third stay at this hotel, and we choose it because of its proximity to the Club Ion Watersports centre, which is on the beach right in front of the hotel (we spend our holiday windsurfing). What we like about the hotel is that it’s very very quiet - no music round the pool, no loud entertainment at night (there is really lovely gentle entertainment outside the restaurant after dinner) - so this won’t necessarily suit everyone, but it works for us. A couple of things have changed for the better since our last visit: there are no longer two dinner sittings, and instead you can go to dinner whenever you like. This suits us much better and meant that there were no big queues at mealtimes. Also, the hotel’s free wifi now seems to extend to the bedrooms (we were on the 6th floor, near the end, and had good signal). The rooms are a bit dated, and the beds are a bit hard, but the rooms are spacious and the shower is hot and powerful (lukewarm showers are a dealbreaker for me). I especially love the balconies which have glass fronts and lovely comfortable sunbeds, so you can really relax on your own balcony. Pros: - Quiet clientele - mainly older German couples, very few children - Sea view balconies with comfortable sun beds - Fridge in room - Large pool area with plenty of sun beds (and very few people putting towels on sun beds first thing in the morning!) - Quiet pool area with no music playing, no aqua aerobics etc - Extensive breakfast and dinner buffet with lots of choice - Excellent service at meal times - staff very friendly and efficient. If you order a bottle of wine at dinner and don’t finish it, they will label it with your room number and bring it back out to you the next night. - Spar shop and plenty of souvenir/clothes shops and restaurants within a couple of minutes walk Cons: - 10 Euro cash deposit required for each beach towel - 20 Euro cash deposit required for bathrobes - Charge to use in-room safe - Very poor labelling of food at the buffet. I don’t eat meat so had to try and work out what did and didn’t have meat in it. If I was vegan or had allergies, the buffet would be a nightmare - Very little atmosphere in the communal areas We will continue to return as it’s perfect for us.

We returned to this lovely hotel in September for our third time! We love staying here as the hotel and grounds are kept so pristine and the staff are always so helpful and friendly. We always ask for a high superior double room with a seaview and we always receive our request. Check in is quick and easy by a great reception team and our suitcases are taken to our room. We enjoyed the choice of food and especially the seafood and chinese evenings. We love seafood and for every lunch and dinner there was a good choice of fish to select. The hotel is right by a gorgeous long sandy beach where you can walk as far as you want to burn off some calories! The pool was very cold but refreshing! House keeping was excellent as always and our room was always ready for us when we returned each day. We have booked again to return in December this year! We look forward to returning in a few weeks. Jacqui and David Burnham
