THB Lanzarote Beach

Lovely hotel! Stayed all inclusive last week of October. Yes the hotel is in need of a lick of paint here and there but don't all hotels? Food was lovely. Plenty to chose from. As like most all inclusives it does get repetitive but very good choice for the money. Lovely pool snack bar if you don't want to eat in the restaurant for lunch. All inclusive drinks very good. Bonus of cocktails brought to your sun lounger most days! Rooms extremely spacious, comfy bed, clean and soft towels (which were replaced as and when you needed them) and very clean with a big balcony. Cleaners were daily in our 6 night stay. Evening entertainment was upstairs above reception which I believe is changing after the refurb. Some of the singers were good. The Brandy Well pub is lovely but abit tired in places. They couldn't have been more accomodating though when asking to watch the football! The biggest plus about this hotel is the location. 30 minutes from the airport. A few steps down to the beach and within 2 minutes walk to the square and a aray of bars and restaurants. We loved a stroll to Surf Wings in the afternoon which is just outside the back of the hotel and left. Cocktails and service fabulous! The Kalima Chill out bar just 2 minutes from the hotel - out the front door and right past the dentist is lovely. We ate at the Casa Blanca 2 minutes from the hotel. Amazing service and food. El Patio was reccomended to us but we didn't get the welcoming feel like Casa Blanca. The food was good but not as good as Casa Blanca. We will definitely be returning!

We booked this holiday through jet 2 it is not a 4 star hotel more like 3. We where all inclusive, the alcohol is awful no branded drink, cocktails disgusting. Breakfast was okay, omelette nice could always find something. Lunch was awful its alright if you want a burger every day.dinner not great meat tough,same fish every night,food most of time cold they have microwave but I don't like to reheat food.they need to label things telling you what it is. Our rooms where alright but bit dated, air con not the best like its faulty,had to keep getting new key for my room a right pain. When in corridors could smell like a sewerage horrible smell, the lifts mirror is all smashed at the bottom corridors dirty with flaking of paint all over the ground. The music by pool a bit to loud at times with old songs,suppose to be a heated pool it was freezing like going into a fridge, pool tables thilthy needs good clean round pool area, parasols need the skip. The brandy well bar was terrible seats ripped not nice, paint work dirty. This hotel is closing in Jan for a refurb which it desperately needs. Staff at reception very helpful and friendly. We spoke to jet 2 rep Steve who was very helpful and we changed to half-board and got some money bk to cover what we paid for all inclusive and went out at night for meals with money.

This is definately not worthy of the rating given. Food was down in what I can only describe as a dungeon. It was warm at best, and not very appealing. The rooms are dirty, tatty and untidy. The walls in corridors have paint pealing and dirty. The pool was apparently heated, but freezing cold. Whilst there a umbrella blew into the pool, hitting a guest in the process. Costa teguise is a windy resort so the umbrellas should be able to withstand the weather. The Brandy Bar is in desperate need of a refurbishment, the seats have no padding whatsoever, and it is so uncomfortable. The staff however are very pleasant and helpful.

The photos of the hotel were quite deceiving, we were allocated to room 1110n which had mould, was filthy, and had at least 10 little flies in there and some were even squashed on the wall from previous guests. We asked the receptionist if we could switch rooms, we had advised we were not the type of coupe to complain but we would not be satisfied to stay in that room for a weeks stay. The receptionist was very accommodating, and within 10 mins he had moved us to a much bette room which was great. However, the next morning we had woken up to a puddle on the floor from the aircon which wasn’t working correctly. The food was very basic, and was the same every day for breakfasts and lunches which can get a bit boring. The dinner wasn’t majorly great either, although they had a few different choices each night we still ate out nearly every night despite paying for all inclusive. Overall, all the staff were amazing but hotel not so much. I feel as though the hotel needs to be renovated.

Positives the entertainment staff were good and Abdul in bar was great. Room large and good view. Pool bar was nice. Negatives it needs money spending. Pool was dirty and food was terrible in the restaurant and too hot a room.
