Nazaret Mansion

A terrible place for a holiday, at first we couldn't find the reception, as the taxi dropped us off at wrong side of the hotel Then we had to navigate lots of flights of stairs with our suitcases just to find the reception. Then we had a long walk to find our room which was on the 3rd floor with lots of stairs And we are in our 70s There is no lift at this hotel And we had to climb 7 flights of stairs every time we went for our breakfast then again for our tea at night Our room was a shock very dull, we had no privacy just one long balcony and if someone was outside there room smoking the smoke was terrible And I have asthma So every time we went to the restaurant or the pool we were climbing 7 flights of stairs I went down to the reception and asked to be moved to a ground floor apartment The earliest I could get one was 2 days later So we lived out of our suitcases until then. But when we moved there was still no privacy as the people next door smoked so every time they came outside we had to go in There is no privacy anywhere at this hotel It's just terrible if you are infirm and can't handle climbing the stairs AVOID THIS HOTEL Which I saw a lot of older people struggling with. And we will definitely not be going back The evening meal was not that great Your room is cleaned every second day and the cleaners are not very happy as they never smile This holiday was for our 25th wedding anniversary Just wish we had gone elsewhere We can't find anything good to say about this hotel So if you are infirm and don't like climbing stairs Avoid at all cost.

Great hotel hotel with super friendly staff. Rooms spotlessly clean, everything you need in the kitchen. There's also a communal room with washing machine & dryer if you need to do some laundry, and also an ironing room. Toilets & showers also there in the coridoor part, again always clean. One leaf or flower in the pool & it's quickly removed, staff about all day ensuring everything is clean and tidy. On a couple of days there was a man touching up paintwork that needed doing. Good selection of food for brekkie and dinner (both buffet) and snacks during the day at the bar. The bar does close at about 6pm, but lots of places nearby for drinks. There's also a reading room / library to escape after dinner if you want some quiet time. We stayed here after a recommendation, we came to visit a friend who immigrated 20yrs ago. Ideally placed near to the town square and beach, with lots of shops & eateries nearby. Can't fault the place

Had nice time room good had extra bit with 2 sun beds on little terrace had food at pool bar also nice we did half board food good we will come back as nice and relaxing no load music blaring out all day you can just enjoy and relax the oly thing night club at back bit noisy but didn't bother us

This is the most dangerous apartments we stayed in on the third floor no hand rails getting up and down the room stank of sewage we got moved but the apartment they gave us was just as inadequate the kitchen had a sink which was right next to the electric hob the fridge had no shelves in the door and there was only three of everything this is the worst place I have ever stayed and as for Jet2 they do not even check that this place is safe the Jet2 rep was not as helpful as she could have been nor was the help line we paid for one night to stay in Nazareth apartments £150 we were quite willing to upgrade but Jet2 said it would take 72 hours by which time half our holiday would have been over not only would I not recommend this place but I would never go on with Jet2 again unhelpful not a friendly group shame as we thought we were going somewhere nice.

Nazaret Mansion - Costa Teguise Lanzarote Pros:- Hotel situated in a great place near the square, so close to everything. Staff very friendly & approachable, Carman at the poolbar was fantastic. Very relaxed atmosphere, no noise at all. Cons:- When we arrived we were given a room (2519) that had 2 floors, bedroom & bathroom up a very narrow creaky stairs, seemed very claustrophobic, door to balcony didn't open all the way due to the sofa bed being there. Asked reception if we could move, they said that we could after 3 days when people had checked out so lived out of our suitcases until then. When we moved on the Saturday we were greeted to a lovely room, so far superior to the one we moved from, can't belive that both rooms were the same price, really baffling. Breakfast & evening meals were OK but food wasn't very hot, happy to see a microwave so we could reheat it, but shouldn't have to do it really. We were also very surprised with the amount of cockroaches that were there too, one even greeted us on our balcony when we returned home one night. All that being said we did have a lovely holiday, would we go back, yes if we could get room 2212 again.

Stayed here before great place very central .Nice and clean it's not luxurious but you get what you pay for I treat it as a base great local no taxis needed quiet at night for a wee week cant beat it .Will come back as I have done before good thing about the digs are it's full but you can still get a sun bed there are the usual early morning sunbed monsters but you get them everywhere
