We stayed here while hiking the TMB and it was our favorite. We arrived cold, wet and muddy after hiking in a torrential rain storm. We received a friendly welcome from the owners. Our room was clean, warm, well equipped and the shower was piping hot. Loved the fresh smell of towels and linens and had a load of laundry done at a reasonable price. Best breakfast options during our trip. Hope to stay here again when I come back to ski.

Ho ritrovato la stessa atmosfera calda ed estremamente accogliente di quando con mio marito portavo mio figlio a Courmayeur affinché imparasse a sciare. La generosa ospitalità dei proprietari Sigg. Patrizia e Andrea, la gentilezza e la disponibilità, l'arredamento curato, la pulizia impeccabile, la colazione superlativa, ancora una volta hanno reso il soggiorno, seppur breve, ricco di dolci ricordi che riempiono il cuore

Hotel Bouton D'Or was one of our favourite places to stay while doing the Tour du Mont Blanc. It is a lovely hotel; the bedrooms are warm, cosy and very clean. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was perfect. We would highly recommend staying here!

We started and ended our Tour de Mont Blanc at the Bouton d’Or, and are thrilled we did. The hotel is lovely and impeccably clean, beds super comfortable, breakfast extensive and delicious. The lobby bar is a cozy spot to relax in the afternoons, and the location is close to both the TMB route and central Courmayeur. Patrizia’s care and attention went above our expectations and made our stay memorable. Our stay was perfect - if we could give six stars we would. Thank you Patrizia!

We stayed here whilst walking the TMB. Truly wonderful stay - best breakfast we have had in a hotel of this quality, staff were very warm, welcoming and helpful, room was immaculately clean - only a 5 min walk from town centre so perfectly positioned. After 4 days of hiking, this was truly a blessing. Highly recommended.

Incredible and totally brilliant. A very warm welcome then wine and crisps in the garden to recover from a days walking . We felt like we had to into a family home arriving here ! The bedroom was equipped with a wonderful little balcony the bed was so comfortable! Traditional Italian artefacts and furnishings beautifully arranged ! The best continental breakfast I have ever had in the beautiful dining room

We stayed at the Bouton'd Or from 26th to 28th of June while doing the TMB. It was also my birthday over the period. Both my wife and I had a wonderful time. Patrizia and Andrea work very hard and go that extra mile to make your stay as enjoyable as possible, the breakfast was a delight,the best breakfast we had by far on the TMB, all the staff were very friendly and welcoming, the hotel is spotless and the gardens are lovely, Patrizia had a nice surprise for me for my birthday too ! We didn't want to leave and I am very much looking forward to returning. A big thank you to Patrizia and Andrea ! Douglas & Tracey

Loved this place so much! My friend and I stayed at this hotel last week, as one of our stops on TMB (tour du Mont Blanc). We had a tough hike to get there that day and were immediately greeted by the woman owner (wish I had her name), who was warm, welcoming and so helpful! Everyone we came in contact with there was so friendly and helpful. This place is family owned, extremely clean & rooms are spacious & well-equipped! The bar is so inviting & beautiful! And the breakfast was absolutely incredible. From the beautiful scrambled eggs to the amazing pastries, everything was top-notch. Highly recommend. I can’t wait to go back there in the future!

We were in a corner room with two balconies. The rooms are set up very well with convenient outlets, plenty of storage and large clean bathrooms. Our room had a tub/shower combination. The water was hot and plentiful. The hotel is conveniently located steps from the buses and the pedestrian plaza. We were there 4 nights and the breakfast pastries were slightly different each day and always very good. Eggs, omelet, yogurt, and meat and cheese were offered each day.
