Such a little gem in the Vermont Countryside. Well appointed, clean and cozy space. I read by the flowing brook where there’s a deck, had dinner at the delicious restaurant on the property and enjoyed the sunset looking at the fields across from the B&B.

Our room over the farmhouse was clean and very spacious as there was a queen size bed and a second room with an old couch. The rooms were clean and the bed was very comfortable. The bistro and cafe were closed the night we were there and while we knew this going in this setup turned out to be too remote on a cool, rainy night in Craftsbury. This became even more apparent without access to a TV. The listing said there was a hot tub on the premises but we couldnt find it, we never saw any staff during our stay. This old farm house is located well off the beaten path.

What a special place for a get away! We thoroughly enjoyed the King Suite, the super comfortable bed and the French Roast coffee couldn't be beat. The Bistro was closed so we picked up a delicious pizza at the General Store down the road--all fresh ingredients and lots of food choices there. We found this when looking for a place close to the LVRT-drove to Hardwick to access the trail and had a fabulous few days. Thanks!

Nous avions réservé la suite. Facile d’accès. Endroit très calme. Propre. Bien équipé. Seuls deux petits bémols… le spa est bien chaud mais sans jets… et le bistro et le café sont fermés en début de semaine. Soyez en conscients! Craftsbury n’est pas calme pour rien… c’est loin de tout!

What a unique glamping experience! Warm blankets and a comfy mattress! So much better than the 30 years we spent on the ground in tents! Easy to find, great communication with owners! Beautiful fall scene on the last day of September! So quiet and so, so, so many stars!!

We stayed at the cottage which is on the backside of the bistro and inn. It really does take a 2 minutes drive to get to it. We loved the cottage, it was clean, private, and the views were picturesque. There was even a piano to use!! The place is well equipped with walking sticks, extra blankets, fans, books, etc. Rising up to the amazing view of the mountains and lake in the distance was an added plus. We arrived at night - so did not see this until the next rising. Our hosts were super friendly and attentive. I felt as if I could contact them if the need arose. Great for large families. Also has a porch to enjoy the sounds and views. Plus a washer and dryer!! Amazing stay over all.

We spent two nights. The tent was spacious, clean and nicely situated. The fact that it.was self check in with no staff did not pose a problem. We did not try the bistro, but breakfast was a healthy bowl of fruit and yoghurt. It was a bit expensive from a Canadian point of view.

A very relaxing, peaceful and tranquil atmosphere. The check in process was simple and quick. I stayed in the Lichen room and the room was MASSIVE. I had the best sleep in years. Thank you Jessie and Lee from the Blackbird Bistro for the hospitality!
