Ibis Styles London Gatwick Airport Reviews

Arrived here in the middle of the night, struggling with my two very heavy suitcases. I was exhausted and in low spirits but I greeted by two very nice staff Gihan and another tall guy never got his name. It’s really great just meeting nice folks who are just efficient and polite. They helped me with my luggage, check-in was quick and easy and the accommodation was great. The room is ideal for overnight stays and very clean. There’s shuttle service to the airport as well, only thing that ****** is that if you wanted airport pickups the service starts at 4am and there was no bottled water in the room. Other than that zero complaints

Very clean. Everything was in good condition. You can take easily bus to crawly broadway. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

We are taking an early flight from Gatwick Airport to Rome the next morning and the hotel is just about 15 mins drive away. The rooms are cosy with sufficient facilities for a comfortable stay. The staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel also have a mini bar for drinking and also ala carte food to order. I’m very satisfied with the place as it is convenient and recommended.

Booked a room here for my sister and nieces. I requested for late check out for them, and initially we were told by a lady at front desk that late checkout is “up to 5pm”, then when we were ready to book late check out a worker named Neil told us it was 4pm. The following day when I called, they said my sister and nieces had to get out by 3pm which I found weird as this wasn’t what was previously agreed before paying . He said it is subject to availability which I understand but this was never explained initially and if I didn’t call, I would have never known that. I was trying to explain this to an employee on the phone when another worker by the name of “Bee” rudely took the phone and handled the call extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. She hung up the phone in my ear twice and ignored my future calls and refused for me to explain my situation to her that I was trying to explain to another employee. She said she didn’t want to hear it. She admitted that she was eavesdropping on the phone call so she didn’t want to hear my explanation as she already heard it. At that point I felt like my privacy on the call was being violated since I didn’t know she was listening to the conversation. She called me rude (although I could not finish one sentence without her interrupting and she wouldn’t let me speak) . I did shout and asked her to let me speak and that’s why she called me rude but all I wanted was a chance to speak. Anyway, I have never experienced anything like this before. She treated me like an animal on the phone and I will be reporting her until disciplinary action is taken. I would like those calls to be reviewed and have sent an email in for investigation into the matter.

Clean too near Gatwick airport breakfast very good! However room is small and over price

There is a paid shuttle bus from the airport, so access is very good. You can watch YouTube on the TV. I have stayed at Ibis hotels in Korea as well, and they have never been disappointing.

The room is not big, but it is cozy and clean.

Upon arrival, I was immediately struck by the ambiance in the lobby. I’m excited to spend some time downstairs. The staff was friendly and helpful, and I have a beautiful view from my room. The room is clean and has useful amenities like an iron and a hairdryer.

We stayed the night before our flight. The hotel has recently been refurbished to a good standard. The rooms are small, but fine. Shower is really good, as is the Aircon. However, throughout the whole night was an intermittent beeping noise. I have no idea what the sound was but I could hear it over my earplugs. I called reception at around midnight. The only solution they gave was to move room. We could have moved, but we were in bed and unpacked. Comfortable bed but the worst nights sleep ever.

A great airport hotel. Newly refurbished rooms with a comfortable bed, very friendly helpful staff and a good choice of food in the restaurant. Plenty parking and only 5 mins from the airport. The best Ibis I have stayed in. The only negative was the £25 parking charge which even for an airport hotel was a bit steep.

After a disastrous start to a holiday with British Airways we ended up being put up at the Ibis Styles at Gatwick Airport. We were pleasantly surprised at how good the hotel is. Very modern and very comfortable (even the sofa bed!). The bar looks great, the breakfast buffet had plenty of choice too. To top it all the staff are very friendly, welcoming and accommodating . If we needed to stay in the area again this would win hands down.

Following a very long day at Gatwick! ending with our flight being cancelled we were eventually moved to the Ibis Styles hotel. The staff at the Ibis Styles were spot on considering the number of very tired and frustrated people and very little info from Tui!!! They dealt with us quickly and politely. Nice comfortable rooms and a good breakfast. Given the circumstances an excellent hotel experience.

Staff at the desk were all so friendly and helpful. Big thanks to matteo who checked me in yesterday night after the longest day of travelling ever! He was so kind and helpful and really made my day. The day staff accommodated as late a checkout as possible which I really needed which was also really helpful!

After a complete mess with massive delay at gatwick, Ibis put 180 of us up at short notice! Despite a long que to check in as it was late at night, the rooms were impressively clean and comfy. The breakfast provided was very tasty and even my fussy teenager was stuffed! There where several staff members who went out of their way to liaise with gatwick and find out what was happening with the flight as we where having shocking communication with the airline. For what was a really stressful situation, being in this nice environment with helpful people really helped keep what could have been chaos at bay. Many thanks from all of us on the delayed XQ691 on 8/7!
