Rummen luktade tyvärr av inpyrd rök och kändes inte uppdaterade de senaste tio åren (minst). Dock var frukostbuffen fantastisk och vägde upp hela vistelsen på ett hotell som stannat i tiden.

Das Zimmer im älteren Teil war sehr geräumig und der Blick auf Nordsee sehr gut. Die darin befindlichen Sessel waren eher Liegemöbel als Sitzmöbel. Zudem standen sie so, dass Fernsehen nicht möglich war. Das ging nur, wenn man im Bett lag oder auf der fußseitigen Bettkante saß. Die Betten waren allerdings gut. Das Badezimmer bedarf einer grundlegenden Verbesserung. Eine Dusche mit einem dunklen Vorhang, so dass man beim Duschen natürlich auch im Dunklen stand. Der Duschkopf eine Zumutung, ebenso die Seifenablage in der Dusche. Bei unvorsichtigen Bewegungen in der Dusche oder unzureichender Nutzung des Vorhangs musste man hinterher einiges Wasser vom Boden mit den vorhandenen Handtüchern aufnehmen. Eine sehr bewegliche Klohbrille mit zugehörigem Deckel machte das Bad nicht besser. Ausgezeichnet ist das zugehörige Restaurant - Frühstück war sehr gut und die Speisenkarte bot nicht nur eine reichhaltige Auswahl, es schmeckte auch sehr gut.

Ankunft und Check-Inn war völlig okay. Für das Wetter kann natürlich niemand etwas und wir haben das Beste daraus gemacht.
