This is our third trip to Legoland Florida and staying at the hotel. We have always upgraded to the VIP Suites (either pirate or friends suite). We like staying in these corner suites because they are much more spacious. They have a room with a king bed, a separate bedroom room with 4 bunk beds, a spacious living area, and a foyer type area. Additionally, they have a screened in balcony with a table and chairs. We arrived last Tuesday and had an excellent time. Room was clean and the restaurants are good in the hotel. They are expensive to eat at, however, we expect to pay extra, as everything on property is expensive. We only have eaten dinner at Skyline, and the service is good. Ed in the bar area and the other waiter/bartender (I forget his name) are excellent. Very attentive servers. The reason for the 1 star review is due to the main resort pool with the slide was closed on Thursday and Friday of our stay. It was closed for scheduled maintenance. They drained the pool and reskimmed the gunite. I inquired with the Text Wizard, who advised it was scheduled maintenance and would be closed until Nov 25. I advised that I was not happy we were not told it would be closed. The Wizard offered $30 credit per day for the "resort fee". I stated I was not happy with $30/day, and that a large reason we upgrade to the corner VIP Suites is for a view of the main pool. The Wizard advised they could not do anything else. I stated that the cost to upgrade to the VIP Suites is significantly more than $30/day. I'm not sure if we'll be back to Legoland due to them not disclosing the main pool closure and lack of fair offer to make it right.

Hotel main pool was closed and not disclosed. Expressed unhappiness about not being advised of pool closure during booking process, or at check-in. Offered $30 credit per day. Not sufficient. Stayed in VIP corner suite with a balcony, and the cost to stay in that room instead of a normal room is significant higher than $30/day.

We recently stayed at the premium Lego Movie Themed room at the Florida Legoland Hotel. For several hundreds of dollars a night and a premium room, one would expect a room with less visible wear and tear. We saw things such as the bedside wall-mounted lamp actually falling off the wall, chipped furniture, what looked like mold in the shower, and baseboards coming off the wall. Not to mention, we are a family of 5 and would always only get 4 sets of towels. When we requested more towels, we never got more. However, the biggest disappointment of the experience was the lack of hot water! It took 6 complaints over a 3 night stay and the issue still wasn’t resolved. We kept being told from different people to run the water for 20 to 30 minutes, so it’ll heat up. The manager even told us that the lack of hot water is “normal” because the water has to run far in the pipes to reach a high floor. Mind you, this room was only on the second floor!! As crazy as it was, we ran the water for 40 minutes and it was still cold. We even tried turning it on the other way and running it thinking maybe the plumbing was backwards. It still didn’t work. The most frustrating part is that management and the front desk staff were all well aware of the lack of hot water, but they tried to convince us that this is perfectly normal and that we had unreasonable expectations. I truly felt they were just hoping we would accept taking cold showers for 3 days and that we should just leave them alone. For $400+ a night, not having hot water is unacceptable. If the Legoland Hotel is going to charge a premium for the experience of themed rooms and being close to the theme park entrance, then they need to provide a room that is in at least decent condition and has hot water. Otherwise, one won’t have a choice but to go to the brand new hotel across the street. It may not be Lego themed, but at least it will have hot water!!!

I recently stayed at the LEGOLAND Resort Pirates Hotel, and unfortunately, it did not live up to expectations. The Good: The hotel is in a convenient location if you’re heading to the park, although the Hilton right across the street is just as close. The Cons: Right from the start, the hotel felt chaotic. It’s incredibly loud, with hallways filled with noise at all hours, and there’s a constant smell of food lingering throughout. One of the elevators was out of order, and the other was unreliable, breaking down repeatedly. For families with strollers, this meant waiting endlessly just to get in or out of rooms—far from ideal. The food was another major letdown. It’s unhealthy, tasteless, and left us opting to eat elsewhere despite the convenience of dining on-site. To top it off, the pool with slides was closed, forcing everyone into one overcrowded pool area. Our TVs weren’t working, which wouldn’t have been a huge deal if it weren’t for everything else, but it added to the frustration. When I politely voiced my concerns to the property manager and requested a comp on our late checkout, he was extremely rude and dismissed the request outright. Bottom Line: While the park is fantastic, I’d highly recommend staying across the street at the Hilton. You’ll probably enjoy a much better experience without the headaches.

This hotel is a great place to stay as it is walking distance to the park. It has activities thru out the hotel to keep the kids busy and entertained. The room are made under themes. If you want a hotel close by this is it. It has something for everyone. It is very well themed and alot to take in.

It was the best vacation experience yet for me and my family. Can’t wait to go back. Pleasant staff, activities for the children, pirate themed room with bunk beds that my daughters loved so much. Great dining, exquisite free all you can eat breakfast. What more could we ask for?

Incredible experience. Went on the first day of school so it was very empty. No wait lines for the rides. We stood at the Legoland hotel with the logo movie theme. Breakfast was included and access to the parks and water park as well. Kids loved the fact that you can trade Lego mini figures with park personnel if they have mini figures to trade. The chefs came out and spoke with me directly in regards to my dairy allergy. They took great care serving me to ensure there was no cross contamination. Overall it was a great experience.

Our 2nd stay at The resort did not disappoint. From the accommodations to the food, the pool and the play area, it was GREAT! Unbeknownst to me the room I purchased through Groupon was a suite and it was amazing and so much more than expected. From the space to the decor, it was so kid friendly, and Engaging. And the customer service was phenomenal. We encountered a personal situation and at 2 o’clock in the morning Tiffany the acting manager at that time was kind and compassionate and so responsive as was Damaris shower and Adrian. Such a great team. They made a bad situation so much better. And the customer service did not stop there. The Valet and concierge team of Jack and Mark was also equally welcoming and accommodating. Even though the golf cart was down Mark kindly drove me and my granddaughter and my daughter-in-law to Peppa Pig to spare us the heat and make it more comfortable for my granddaughter and went even further in that he also offered to pick us up and return us to the hotel. You know you made an impression when a two-year-old toddler thanks you and tells you she likes you. My granddaughter told us, I like Mark. Coming from a child, that’s priceless. It’s the little things they each did in their individual capacities that amounted to huge things that made our trip so memorable and helped us overcome our personal situation with far greater ease. And Peppa Pig park was all we expected it would be for our toddler’s 2nd visit. This family will definitely make this resort an annual trip. My two-year-old granddaughter has many years to enjoy the parks they offer and the accommodations complete the package. A must stay.
