- Room: The room in which I stayed was cool and met all my standard expectations. It had a comfortable bathroom, a clean sheet, and a pillow with a lot of necessary animes. On the eighth floor, there was a spacious restaurant that offered a fantastic view of the city at night. - Facilities: The hotel was supplied with a good elevator and a big comfy sofa in the lobby. - Security: Good. There were two security men who watched the hotel and kept the garage safe. - Staff: The reception was on 24/7. The receptionists who were willing to advise us on many things to do and well-known tourist attractions in Danang was helpful and enthusiastic. - Surroundings: D&C Hotel was a bit quiet in daytime. Furthermore, it was close to the Night market, the Dragon Bridge, and the Love Lock Bridge, which was very bustling and dynamic by night. It took about 5 minutes to go to these places and I did not need to rent motorbikes. - Extra services: You feel free to rent motorbikes here.

I lived in a single room so I didn’t experience the fun of many people, but the environment is very good. There is a separate small drying table outside and the same space as the opposite one. It's a good system to carry the key with you, and it's nice to be able to enter and exit from the side passage without passing through the lobby. The hotel is very near the Han River and the Đà Nẵng Museum of Cham Sculpture. The museum displays approximately 300 sculptures, among which some are made from terracotta. The sculptures were collected from Cham Temples and towers throughout Central Vietnam, more specifically the area stretching from Quang Binh to Binh Thuan. It is a statue of a carp dragon (Chinese believes some special carps will change to dragons) weighing nearly 200 tons, was installed on the East bank of Han River, It attracts thousands of visitors every day to visit and take souvenir photos, especially good to watch the dragon fire show here.

Why did Sanitation give a star? Because there were cockroaches in the room on the first night, there were a lot of cockroaches, contact the front desk and tell us that we can only change the room the next day because there is no room. We took our three children, so why go to the hotel in the middle of the night? I sprayed a lot of mosquito repellent by myself, but fortunately I brought my own sheets, and it will be one night! We booked a room for 1 night using Avíos points- the cash price was about $15. The hotel is situated on the main road alongside the river, with lots of coffee shops and local restaurants and a few bars within a 10 minute walk. Our room was on the 8th floor (though strangely the lift only went to floor 7!). The room was large with a king sized bed, firm mattress, good a/c, big TV, fridge etc. Nice big bathroom and large walk-in shower. We had a ‘city view’ so rooftops of neighbouring buildings rather than the river. The room was clean but the carpet in the corridor was slightly soiled. We slept ok though could hear some pounding bass from a nearby club (wed night- weekend could be worse?). The staff seemed to speak no English and one disappointing factor was a lack of secure room to store bags after check out. The girl on reception told us to leave them by the counter. As we’d seen reception unstaffed a couple of times, this made us nervous but she said she’d be there while we went out for an hour. Not surprisingly when we came back, reception was empty and anyone could have accessed our bags and others left in reception. The hotel really needs to address this point. Apart from that we were happy with the room for the amount paid.
