The hotel's location is great, making it convenient to get around. You can catch a bus or subway right outside for sightseeing. The room decor is nice, though it might be a bit dated. However, the cleaning lady did a very thorough and clean job. The front desk service was excellent; check-in was fast and friendly. This hotel makes up for its outdated facilities with excellent service. I'm giving it 4 stars because the front desk staff, especially one woman, was incredibly helpful. The first room I was given had a strange smell, and when I mentioned it, she patiently showed me several other rooms late at night. I really hope the owner considers upgrading the facilities. Oh, and the location is fantastic – right next to Dalian Station, and lines 3/5 are just a 2-minute walk across the street, making it super convenient for getting around.

Although it wasn’t their fault—it was actually my mistake for not requesting a non-smoking room in advance—they were still proactive and willing to change my room for me. Even though the staff did not speak English, they used translation apps to communicate and assist me patiently, without showing any frustration. The location is excellent. It’s easy to travel to the main tourist attractions, and most places are not too far away, making it very convenient. The room rate is also quite reasonable for what you get. The only thing that bothered me a little was the smell of cigarette smoke. However, I can understand that this may be part of the local culture and lifestyle. Another downside is that the rooms are not soundproof. You can clearly hear conversations in the hallway and noises coming from neighboring rooms.
