Hotels Near 7-Eleven in Dallas

The room is relatively new, very good

This is the first time I've heard of this hotel and it's my first time bundling with it, but it turns out that it's a hotel built by Hyatt. True to Hyatt's reputation, it is a luxury hotel.

Checked in on Friday 6/3 for a wedding and checked out Sunday 6/5. The lobby, bar, and banquet rooms were all very nice. Hotel staff was very friendly, cordial, and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Pool was great! Service at the wedding was top notch. The shower was severely lacking in water pressure, to the point where I felt like I was in a public gym, but I had no issue overlooking this. However, my overall very positive experience was greatly reduced with all 3 of my interactions with the onsite Valet. First encounter: Checking in, the wait for valet service was 25 min. Would have parked myself but there was no clear instructions on how to do so. Valet attendants showed no hustle (a lot of confusion, standing around, yelling, overall chaos) and then I even witnessed an attendant driving a $100K BMW bump into a parked pick up. This left me very unsettled leaving my car in their care. Nevertheless I did. 2) I called to have my car brought around Sat morning so I could retrieve an item I had left in the car. Attendant was somewhat rude and dismissive on the phone as well as in person. 3) After checking out, the valet process was, once again, pure chaos. I understand this is somewhat to be expected at 11AM on a Sunday. But again, there seemed to be no organization, no system, and just general disfunction with little care for the guest experience. Then, I witnessed an enraged guest screaming profanities because his car had been badly damaged while in the care of the valet service. There was easily $1,000 worth of body damage to his car. Finally after 30 min of waiting, my car was retrieved. No remorse or apology for the wait or overall experience. In general, very nice hotel and stay that was severely diminished by the valet experience. Bottom line, if you're going to force driving guests to pay $36 per night for a valet service, it needs to be far more efficient, friendly, and people need to feel comfortable leaving their vehicles.

Four-star hotel is expensive, the price is not high!

I love the location; and how big are the rooms. ❤️

First, our experience with this hotel was absolutely horrible. The key system in our door failed multiple times, causing numerous trips to get help to get into our room. Second, the tail lights of our vehicle were stolen over night. The initial manager we worked with was complete unhelpful and refused to help accessing the cameras to give more information to our insurance. Please explain how this happened when they have overnight security that patrols the parking lot?? The manager was dismissive and had the audacity to offer us dinner despite the amount of time and money this ordeal will put us out on. Instead of offering any sort of help he offered dinner. Dinner is offensive in the lieu of actual help and care. Despite all of this, when we spoke with Quin she was amazing. She was understanding, polite, and helped us that best she could. It is ONLY because of our amazing interaction with Quin that this hotel is getting the review we are giving it. Thank you Quin!

The breakfast is very simple, there is nothing to eat, just join in. They have an airport shuttle bus to Dallas love field airport, from 6 am to 10 pm. Others are ok, the hotel is quite satisfactory.

Not overwhelmingly friendly. Long check in with nobody else there. No luggage cart. Had to bring everything in because the reviews warn of car robberies. No warm breakfast. Password written wrong on card key holder. Ugh. The little things. I called the front desk for the password. LYT57. See photo.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites North Dallas at Preston from February 18-20, 2022; Confirmation #24259998. We were in Dallas for our daughter’s graduation from Western Governors University. When we made the reservation, NO mention was made that the hotel was going through a major, MAJOR renovation. Luckily, my profile indicates we prefer a top-floor room, and we were placed on the fourth floor. My daughter and her family had a room on the second floor. The fourth floor had been fully renovated. Contractors were hard at work on the third floor. The first and second floors were yet to be renovated. We were appalled at the conditions on the second floor when we visited our daughter’s room, but when we got to our room on the fourth floor, we were thrilled with the accommodations . . . or so we thought. The trouble began on the first night. At 2AM, the folks next door decided to host a party . . . a very loud party. After a few minutes, we called the front desk. Apparently, no one was stationed at the front desk, because it took forever for someone to answer. (Eventually, the phone stops ringing and you have to re-dial if you really want to speak to someone.) The front desk called up to the room next door, there was a lot of door-slamming and running down the hall, but eventually it was quiet. We got back to sleep. The next morning, I stopped at the front desk and asked if we could be moved. I was told there were no more rooms on the fourth floor like ours, but we could move to the second floor if we so desired. I was given the key to the second-floor room so I could check it out before making a decision. We went to the room and found it dingy and smelly. We decided to remain in the room upstairs. Upon returning the key to the front desk, I was told (by the very pleasant staff member) that the folks next door had been warned about the noise and told that the police would be called if they “did it again”. We went to sleep the second night hoping for the best. Again at 2AM the shouting began. The second night it sounded more like an argument than a party. I called the front desk . . . and called . . . and called. Finally, someone answered the phone! She said she had a note about the folks next door, and she would call the police. She did. Eventually, we got back to sleep. Then the police arrived. Aarrrggghhh! They were quite noisy as well. Upon checking out, I asked the still pleasant young lady at the front desk if we could be compensated in some way for the two miserable nights of sleep we got. She promised 15000 reward points which, she said, should be equivalent to a one-night stay at any IHG Hotel. I accepted her offer and was pleased with her concern. Upon arriving at home, I received a request from Jay Caiafa, Chief Operating Officer for The Americas region of IHG Hotels requesting that I complete a survey.
