The hotel was very nice and is brand new. The staff was friendly and the service was very good. There were only 2 issues; one, that the walls were a bit thin and I could hear my neighbors at night. Second, the valet was a bit high almost $50 with tax per day. Other than that it was a very nice day great location and spacious rooms. We stayed in on the Jr suites, which I highly recommend if you like a bigger bathroom.

I had a nice stay at the Ritz in Dallas. It is an older hotel that was formerly a Four Seasons. They did an extensive renovation recently. My room was spacious. I had a corner king room with a nice balcony. The room wasn’t as clean as I would expect for a Ritz, but wasn’t dirty. The toilet hadn’t been replaced and didn’t work as well as a new one would. Also the sink had a big crack in it. A couple of the power outlets in the room didn’t function. Not what you would expect from a five star property. The star was professional and helpful. The gym is very large and well equipped. All in, I had a nice stay but would not say this property is a 5 star hotel.

Save your money, this is really poor value for the price. Stood in line for nearly 15 minutes to check in— it appears there’s only one person handling all concierge, check in and guest relations duties. Rooms do not have coffeemakers or coffee. I was told they were taken out during the pandemic. But there aren’t any other complimentary alternatives and honestly I’m not really buying the hygiene explanation given that there aren’t any mask or distancing rules or other visible Covid safety measure being taken otherwise that I can see. Wi-Fi is also not complimentary which was not stated upfront so I was left scrambling trying to figure out how to get online right before a work video conference. The in-room phone was not functional; regardless of which button I pressed, I got a busy signal. So ended up having to look up the number on my phone— nothing else in the room provided contact info for the front desk— and being placed on a lengthy hold. When I expressed surprise about the charge for Wi-Fi the response was that this is common among luxury properties which felt dismissive and also not borne out by experience— I travel extensively at this class of hotel and at the very least they let you know in advance what the Wi-Fi situation is. Really disappointed with this experience.

Great hotel, location, accommodations and food. Luis, the maintenance man fixing a table one morning in the lobby was exceptionally kind, helpful and went out of his way to make certain I was having a great stay. I would strongly recommend staying at the hotel crescent.

The first thing I will say is ”SHAME ON HILTON!” if they run a staff with so few people. We were there Fri-Sun. There was ONE valet the entire time who worked open to close. He really was one of the best things about the entire hotel experience and worked his butt off! Seriously, the guy has a way of making you smile. The front desk clerk, Estafania, (there were only 2 the entire weekend) was crazy sweet and helpful! The wonderfully great lady at the entrance bar makes amazing drink. THIS IS WHERE THE GOOD ENDS. THIS WAS NOT A $400/NIGHT ROOM! The carpet in the room was gross and stained. The toilet wouldn't flush unless flushed multiple times. When maintenance came, they basically told us to stand and hold the plunger down longer or ”flush twice if you need to”. The TV was a pain and would randomly go back to the menu. The radio never worked correctly and wouldn't stay on and it was the ONLY way in the room to listen to music. There was an area where the clothes hung that had a ”chiller” built in to a cabinet. The thing hummed loudly most of the time. ”BUT! THERE'S A TERRACE!” you say. The chairs were so gross and frayed, we never actually got brave enough to sit in them. Perhaps some of these things are normal in Texas, but we asked for late checkout. Anything beyond 1 hr and it was another $50 to a half day's charge. They promote the ”rooftop bar” but what they forget to tell you is that it's open to the general public. You're not going to find a seat there unless you get there early! We were ”given” a sad little bag of two generic waters as a ”check-in gift”. Valet is $35 a day but after seeing stores CHARGE A VALET just to shop at them, I guess it's not too bad. They hold a $50 a day charge ”in case”. No included breakfast - that will cost you another $15. I had expected nicely decorated and great beds, especially for the price of the room. It had been 12 yrs since I'd had a real vacation. I expected better for the cost.

Beds need improving they are hard. The construction around the hotel was a pain to navigate and I Hate that you have to pay $20 a day to park.. but overall a good experience nice hotel and nice staff.

This is way more than just a hotel. We were here for a girl's weekend and made the most of all the available amenities, which I highly recommend doing. We started with lunch at Leonies (Daniel the manager was exceptional). We had great service and the food was incredible. We then went to our breathtaking corner rooms where they have thought of every detail. We headed to the rooftop pool. There were 4 of us, but we just saved one lounger since we stayed in the pool the whole time. This was a Saturday afternoon and I really loved that is was all adults there and a great vibe. We headed to the room to freshen up and take full advantage of the unbelievable bathroom. First, we had drinks in the lobby and then dinner at Stillwells. This restaurant is a MUST try. We all ordered different things so we could try more and every bite was incredible. We finished the night at Babous (Liz the manager was so much fun). This is a perfect place for a nightcap and I love we never had to leave the hotel to be able to have a variety of experiences. After a great nights sleep (the turndown service really was the icing on the cake) we hit the sauna and took a cold plunge to start the day before brunch back at Leonies and headed home. I CAN'T WAIT to come back again!!! Thank you The Swexan Hotel for the best time!!!

We’re “Lifetime Platinum” after 25 + years of loyalty - and never have my wife and I created with such welcoming warmth and hospitality. Our reservation manager, Thank, was very accommodating to our requests and her helper, Mr Pedro, went above and beyond to help ensure our bags got to our room AND provided a secondary refrigeration for delegate items we needed to be stored in our room. Tremendous experience - Bravo!
