Hotels Near Gomz Nature in Dar es salaam

I spent one night in the Chelsea Hotel to do some sightseeing in Dar and it was very good for that purpose. The hotel was a little bit dated, but otherwise completely up to the standards which I expect from a hotel. It's located not far from the clock tower, which to my understanding pinpoints the centerpoint of the city. The actual sights I went to see started further away, about 20 minutes by foot. The room was adequate in size and had good aircon. I had a twin room. I first tried sleeping in the bed further away from the aircon, but the air blew directly there, so I had to move to the bed right under the aircon unit. The hotel was located close to a busy road and the honking of the cars could be heard up to the sixth floor. However it wasn't bad. The breakfast was ok. It didn't have a very wide selection, but the items I tried were tasty and of good quality. Also the setting in the restaurant was pleasant. The only negative I have to say is the extraorbitant exchange rate. I had paid my room rate in advance, but I had to pay the city tax (1.50 USD) at the hotel. I asked to pay in Tsh and had to pay 7000 Tsh, equivalent to about 3$. My loss was only 1.50$, so it wasn't a big deal in my case, but the principle left a bad taste in my mouth. If the room rate would have been 1.50$ higher but the city tax 3500 Tsh, I would have left as a happy customer. The hotel offered airport transfer for 42000 Tsh. It was quite pricy. The fixed price at the official taxi stand at the airport was 30000 Tsh. On the way back to the airport I used a rideshare app to get my transfer, it cost Tsh 12000.

The location is far from the city center, and the price is relatively cheap. Outside the hotel are relatively shabby areas, but the overall development level of Tanzania is also average, so there are not many really good areas. Hygienic conditions are average, and tablecloths in the restaurant are stained. In general, the level of domestic express hotels is okay, but it is not recommended for high living conditions.

Not bad, the price is a bit too expensive, 18, it doesn't feel worth it. But it seems that this is already the best hotel in Dashi. The experience of staying is OK. The breakfast is not bad. The service attitude is OK. The sanitary environment is relatively good. The location is OK. Close to the port.

The room was clean, clean linens. The room has a TV. The bathroom is clean, the plumbing is new, there is hot water. From the port 20 minutes walk. There is a KFC nearby.

I have been ordering cakes for various celebrations and it has always been an awesome experience with friends and families enjoying the cakes. I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to Chef Pankaj who recently made the doll cake for my little princess just the way I wanted and making it very special for her. The taste was absolutely awesome too. I have never gone wrong ordering cakes from Four Points and highly recommend. One of the best cake place in town. The hospitality and customer care at the reception is also very friendly and cooperative.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The room was amazing and spotless, air-conditioned with cable TV. The cleaning staff went above and beyond there duties and made us feel special and very welcome every day. The breakfast was great with plenty of choices. We ate in the hotel restaurant most nights and the food was exceptional every night. The menu was good. The chefs need to be given credit for there work. All staff on reception were polite and helpful but Rogate was of a different level and couldn't do more for us. She is a credit to the hotel and hope the management realise this and give her a promotion. For all her information and help she provided us we will 100% return to this hotel again in the future. If you are into your fitness this is the place to visit as you get full use of the air-conditioned gym and thr facilities which are all of a very high standard. It‘s a fairly new hotel and part of Marriott Bonvoy. I enjoyed to stay there a lot, the staff is very friendly and attentive. The breakfast buffet is nice and with various options. The pool has a nice size, however lacking a view. Talking about view, some rooms have nice sea view. Others have pool view but you also see the green landscape which is nice too. The rooms are pretty big, kind of small TV though, but they feel very comfortable and the bed is great too. Also USB and an international power plug at the night stand, which still a lot of other hotels don‘t have. Rooms are cleaned very well. The gym is very basic, only machines for cardio and a few weights. Ate dinner at the restaurant several times and always got good food. There is an area called Slipway just 5 walking minutes away, that also provides great food options and a bit of nightlife.

The room is damp, the clothes can't be dried after three days of washing, the sun can't shine, and the so-called interior scene can't be seen, the room is clean. The room size is also ok. The seafood in Karambezi restaurant is good, the desserts are also good, the environment is good, and you can see the sea for breakfast! The swimming pool is also clean, the gym equipment is okay, the service from the waiters is good, and there is a beach next to it. If you bring your family, you must watch the sea. It's amazing. You can listen to the sea at night and watch the sea during the day , breakfast and dinner can see the sea
