The hotel itself is nice with lovely scenic views within and outside the surroundings. The rooms were nice with the glowing lights around the room and the bathroom was nice as well. There were specific staff members who were absolutely such as Melisa from the souvenir shop who was an absolute delight when conversing with her (most of the time with Google translate), Damla who worked in the Patisserie drinks section was always lovely to have a chat and spoke the most English to us. Rumeysa was also a lovely staff member who was friendly, helpful and outgoing when talking and laughing with us. The food was absolutely lovely- the food was fresh different and had a bit of everything for everyone. The food was absolutely delicious, the food was fresh everyday from the breads to the meats such as doner kebab (which was our favourite) that were made for dinner. For lunch and dinner, there were these exquisite desserts that were made everyday which were fresh and delicious. There were cakes such as tres leche cakes, moose, different coloured cakes as well as baklava which was amazing. The food and the staff members were the main reason why I have reviewed this hotel as 3 stars otherwise it would have been 2 stars. When waiting for our rooms to be ready- check in starts from 12pm so one room was ready very quickly around 11:30, however, the other room was not. We told the staff members in reception to let us know when it was ready and that we would be sitting in the lobby and they said thats fine. It was coming to 1:00pm and we decided to go to the reception if it was ready and it was not My mother and I shared a room and my brother and uncle shared another room. In my room we requested for extra pillows and because the staff members cannot understand English even though on Trip Advisor, the webpage says they can which is absolutely false- communication was difficult and needed google translate constantly. A '5 star' hotel should speak the main languages such as English- massive let down. Apart from the English, when asking for more pillows, mum had to ring nearly 6 times to get them to bring pillows and when they finally did I only received 1 even thought he bought 2 but because he couldn't speak English we had to ring again which was ridiculous in service. When the cleaners come to sort out the rooms, they took away the pillows for no reason and we had to call reception again and go through the same thing when asking for extra pillows- very annoying. The hotel had no iron which is a necessity available for our clothes, so my uncle went to the market I believe it was a Bazaar and bought an iron from there but they had a hair dryer in ever room. When leaving the hotel, we were told to go to an ATM machine to take money out to pay for the taxi that was taking us to Izmir Airport. When arriving there, the taxi driver did not speak English (again) so he was not understanding that as our bank was with Lloyds it would not be accepted here in th
