Find Designer Hotel in Seoul

I must say that this is the finest hotel I’ve ever experienced in Seoul. Every aspect is exceptional but what truly distinguishes it from others is the remarkable quality of its food and the outstanding room service. If you choose to stay here, I highly recommend indulging in the delightful Mango Bingsu available at the lobby cafe as well as ordering Galbi Bansang as a room service option.

The hardware of the hotel is top notch. It is new with great facilities. The view over the city was breathtaking. The restaurants, especially the buffet restaurant and Eatanic Garden were amazing.

The hotel is located in the center of Yeouido, just across the street from Hyundai Department Store/IFC MALL. There are many choices for shopping and eating, very convenient! The hotel staff speaks fluent English and has a very good service attitude The Byredo shampoo used in hotels smells great. The only drawback is that the bath water is sometimes hot and cold, and you may get burned suddenly.

Wonderful service, great staff, cozy rooms, warm atmosphere with the festivities from the holiday season. Thanks always for such welcoming staff that immediately brings smile and joy as soon as you walk into the hotel and at the check in desk. It’s always a pleasure to have small conversations with the front desk staff.

Location is more suitable for business travellers who want to work & commute in financial district, otherwise there’s not much to do in this whole area as it’s very hard to find a decent or simple eatery which opens near late night compared to living in Dongdaemun and Gangnam. Our room is located high and we can have a glance of the nearby buildings and overlooked further. They don’t provide full amenities compared to 2 other 5-stars hotels we had stayed in during this trip. So prep yourself with our necessary amenities like earbuds, combs, earplugs, sewing kits if needed in any case.. The hotel room is quite spacious and toilet is equipped with a bathtub which we didn’t get to utilise at all but my child had once because she wanted to play a bath bomb for 10 mins. Other items like ironing board, iron, Nespresso coffee machine, distilled water bottles, beverages and condiments, safe box, fridge were all provided. And I find it quite troubling as there were too many ‘big-country’ tourists either staying in the hotel or those living in Seoul going to the Hyundai Seoul mall to buy luxury goods. And the entire mall is crazily flooded and packed with youngsters on the day of our check-in and the next day. Some came to window-shop while most others came in for food and perhaps after meals, to seek shelter and shield from the cold. You won’t be believed this you can’t even find a place to eat as all fast food eateries, snacks counters and restaurants were fully unavailable. There were basically long queues everywhere you go. Ended up my super famished poor child had to walk a long way with us & venture out in the cold to find any available restaurant to have our dinner. International breakfast is served daily at L5 and the buffet spread is limited compared to the one we stayed & had in Dongdaemun. We had to pay additional 55,000KRW (SGD55) per day for our young child to dine in with us as her breakfast was not included in our accommodation package. I think it’s really too expensive and given that we always came down only at 9.30am and the breakfast stopped at 10am sharp. The food she always had was a small bowl of cereal, 4 small bite-sized hash-browns and a glass of milk only where she had to eat fast within 30mins before they closed for the day. For such price paid, it’s totally not worth it and we can’t avoid paying lesser despite they knew we only had 30 mins left to dine. Overall the concierge service crews’ attitude and professionalism were excellent and Fairmont had the best staffs with great service i encountered during our 3 weeks stay across 3 different 5-stars hotels. I wished I will have another chance to stay here again but the price for each night is SGD450++, which is really expensive.

Staffs service are awesome. Downside for the hotel is that, it’s slightly different from other places, Andaz. Their rooms aren’t that luxurious and we were surprised that the in room slippers are very normal, doesn’t even have the word Andaz on it.

That’s the best experience ever and thankful to the manager Tony Kim who made extra mile to create a wonderful atmosphere at the hotel as at home☺️ Recommend to book suite room because it is worth and it is big and great facilities and you can look at N tower and of course lunge benefits which worth having it during the stay The breakfast and happy hour in the evening lounge is great and so delicious praise to the Chef Cleanliness is top. HSKp is the best. The concierge downstairs outside of the entrance is a nice and very helpful. Recommended.

The room is exactly the same as I stayed 10 years ago. Rooms and amenities are dated. The service is average, no personal touches, didn’t even get help with my luggage at taxi drop off. Still using small bottles of shampoo & conditioners, plastic water bottles. No Netflix or even connection to your phone. I would give this Grand Hyatt at 4* hotel only.

The hotel environment and services are both 5-star. The guest room swimming pool is at a constant temperature and stays at 39 degrees. The rooms are large and comfortable. It's great to soak in the swimming pool at night. It's worth recommending!

Lobby is great the room is great , the bed is comfortable, except for the sofa, my friend sat on the sofa in the room, and she was being bitten by some bugs, not sure if it’s the bed bugs. Her skin was all red with small dots on it. The staff are polite but they are not really helpful, which I expected more for a five star hotel. When you are trying to move your luggage on the car, there are 3 staff outside, all of them are guys, none of them tried to help me the 2 big luggages which was quite inappropriate! But the staff at the front desk is kind and friendly.
