The family, the kids are very kind, heartwarming, genuine. They prepare the best food on Earth, the homestay offers great accommodation, and yoga studio, also perfect for meditation. Very peaceful. However, in my case, a very big however, I did not feel welcome at the place. Kamal, the owner, had a very minimal contact with me, at times it even felt like I was bothering him. No help with getting to the accommodation, no “hey who are you? Welcome to my home” talk. I do consider these things necessary in business like this one. When one stays at someone’s home, it’s crucial to feel like one is welcome to be there. Unfortunately, this didn’t happen. I got charged for an extra night, maybe more of a math mistake rather then a moral one, but still didn’t leave me with a positive impression. I truly hope other people will have a different experience and will have easier time getting to know Kamal. It’s a shame
