Everything was great with this hotel, from the view to the service. The beach is very beautiful and clean. There are quite a few of beach boys on the beach waiting to sell things to you. However if you tell them politely you’re not interested, they’ll leave you alone.
It’s very close to Ukunda airport, only 10min drive.
One major thing this resort needs to improve is the foods. The foods are no where close to a 5 star resort standard. They’re normal than normal. Limited varieties. This was the most disappointing part. However because of the superb view and services, I was able to enjoy the trip! Will definitely go back and hope the foods are good by then.

Being my second time visiting this place, it felt so special. On arrival, we were welcomed by Carol at the reception with a warm smile. Checking in we were given the renovated rooms which were very clean and spacious. My highlight of my stay was the finger licking food in the three restaurants, the service from both waiters and waitresses and our house keeper in room 2459 and the Jambo team. I would like to appreciate Sylvia the hostess, Tonny the restaurant supervisor and Mr. Silas the restaurant manager for always checking up on us. We will surely be back. The only thing you can check up on is the internet. It was intermittent when we got to the room but when outside it works well. Happy Holidays Baobab staff! Light and Love!

Baobab is a three-in-one, with the premium side known as kole kole. My family booked kole kole, hoping we'd enjoy a little premium service. It turns out you pay more only for bigger room space and nothing else. You end up with an ultra crowded restaurant, swimming pool and surroundings in Kolekole with guests from the other two facilities that you can hardly find space for recreation. If you're not so bothered by room sizes, book any into any of the other two facilities. You will save yourself good $$ and enjoy the same services as those in kole kole. Other than this, the food is great, service folks are amazing souls and they have very good family entertainment.

We arrived early morning on the 12th of December this year. This was actually our 2nd time to be at Baobab. We were there again last year November, We must admit that you have the best team who are up to the task. Very attentive and helpful. On our arrival at the reception we met this particular guy his name is Salim (not sure of his second name) He was really good and was very quick to assist us. I remember I had forgotten my original ID and I thought it would be a big issue but he sorted it out. He quickly provided a solution . Keep up the good work Salim together with your team. Our best wing was Maridadi. They have the best waitresses who are very warm and welcoming. They smile at you from the entrance. Their services are the best compared to the others. I would give them 10/10. There are 2 key people who were extremely good here just like Salim at the reception. There is this super supervisor by the name Kufaa and a waitress by the name Cecelia (These 2 are the best) By the time we were living Cecelia had become a friend to my 5 year old daughter. God bless you Salim (Reception your hospitality is on another rank) God bless you Kufaa (Maridadi always on point) God bless you Cecelia( Waitress Maridadi) for your kindness Thanks to the management for the good job. Everything is on superb, from the delicious cuisine to the the renovated rooms. Thanks to the management for keeping Baobab NO 1 in the hospitality industry.
