A fantastic location which is close to the sightseeing spots

It is in the core area of ​​Dijon, with an excellent location, next to the commercial street, which is very prosperous. The hotel is very clean and hygienic, but small, which is a common problem in Europe. But the stay was very comfortable and cozy. You can park at the door but you need to buy your own parking ticket which is not very expensive.

The room we stayed in was large and could accommodate four people. The kitchen was fully equipped and the bathroom had towels and a washing machine. The sofa bed was a bit hard but there was nothing wrong with it. The stands were beautiful and comfortable. I had a great time staying with my friends. The location is in the center of Dijon. Area, very convenient to go out

Excellent établissement très bien situé à proximité de la zone piétonne du centre-ville. La recherche d'une place de parking peut cependant être une difficulté (capacités très limitées de l'hôtel).

What a beautiful hotel, right in the heart of Dijon. Daily breakfast in the charming conservatory was wonderful. The croissants were still warm from the oven. Our room was modern and clean, with TV and much-needed air conditioning. We booked a parking spot at this hotel which was the best money spent! Celine at the front desk was helpful, charming and even tried to assist me with French lessons. Merci beaucoup, Celine!

I spent three nights at the hotel as a solo traveller. Overall, it was a good stay. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful, especially at reception. My room was very clean, on the 2nd floor near the elevator (which I didn't hear at all) and with big French doors opening out onto the street. It was very was spacious and well appointed, with decent, but basic amenities, a safe and a comfortable bed. It had everything I needed for a short stay. I had breakfast once in the very bright and bustling breakfast room and it's reasonable value for the money (14€ from memory). I discovered a lovely boulangerie around the corner and I'm always up for grabbing a coffee and croissant from somewhere local instead of eating at the hotel. Both the up and down side for me was the location. Wonderfully central, right across from the Musée des Beaux-Arts and some reasonably decent places to eat. But that fabulous central location also meant it was busy and the street noise made it virtually impossible to keep those wonderful French doors open at all. When they were closed, it was quiet, but I guess that's what you get from staying in the thick of things. I must also say I'm highly noise sensitive, so this may not bother other people. Tourist tip: there's a great little free bus that runs around Dijon and departs just a few steps away from the hotel. Make sure you look it up - DiviaMobilités. It's great and I saved myself an Uber fare by catching it to the stop closest to the train station the day I left. I learned about the bus from the hotel reception staff, so that was good. Overall, Hotel Des Ducs is good value for money. It's central, clean and a good option if you're not bothered by street noise, or happy to just shut it out.

This hotel is a wonder. The staff, most of which are bilingual, are as friendly as they are efficient. The breakfasts are worth the price of admission, so to speak. The location next to a museum and open market is simply outstanding. A gauge of how valuable a stay is can be determined by whether you would return in the future. It is without hesitation that I say that the Hotel Des Ducs will be a Go To if we ever return to Dijon!
