Hotels in Hengdian, Dongyang

I absolutely loved this hotel and want to thank everyone, especially housekeeper Xiao Xiao for the fantastic service! The room was very clean and in the middle of the attraction. Xiao Xiao made sure all my needs were met and provided me with all the necessary information even in English. They even asked if the air condition is cool enough, wich was incredibly kind. I would definitely come back and can absolutely recommend this accommodation.

Pros: The price is affordable, the overall facilities are well-maintained, and the room size was accurately advertised. The front desk staff were quick to resolve issues and always greeted me with a smile. The location is excellent, very close to Qin Palace, Qingming Riverside Landscape Garden, and Dream Valley. Daily amenities were replenished, and the cleaning staff were very friendly. Cons: The unused breakfast vouchers could not be refunded (unlike the hotel next door). The breakfast selection was limited and the taste was mediocre (I felt it didn't even compare to outside breakfast stalls). On the first day of my stay, the room had a strong dusty smell, I'm not sure if it hadn't been cleaned or aired out, or if it had been vacant for too long. Overall: I'm still quite satisfied, and it's a type of place I would consider staying at again. The attached photos were taken with a wide-angle lens.

Came to Hengdian with my little one and stayed at the Hengdian World Studios VIP Building Hotel, and the experience was fantastic! It's great value for money. We stayed in a family room, and the bed was huge. The location is excellent; Hengdian is right outside the door, and staying at the hotel gives you a 15% discount on tickets. The service was superb; they even provided facial masks, eye masks, and fruit. Will definitely be back next time!

Overall, it was excellent! It's located right in the heart of Hengdian town, with restaurants lining both sides of the main street, so you'll never go hungry. There's even a delicious Yunnan restaurant downstairs. It's very close to the Qin Palace and Riverside Scene at Qingming Festival scenic area, just a few minutes by taxi. I think it's the top choice for anyone visiting Hengdian. The air conditioning was great, and I absolutely loved the latex pillows in the room – they were the perfect height. The mattress was also just right, not too soft and not too firm. The decor was nice, and there was no smoke smell in the room. It wasn't hot even without the A/C on at night. Service: The lobby service was fantastic; they proactively offered water. I stayed for three nights and had absolutely no complaints. Highly recommended!

I've always been satisfied with Atour Hotels, but this time I was a bit disappointed that the room cleaning service on the second day didn't replenish the water and tea. I reported it to the front desk, and they said they'd send some up, but I waited a long time and nothing happened. I had to call the front desk again to have a robot deliver the water first. Ultimately, no one sent the tea, so I couldn't make any. It's just a few tea bags, is it really that much trouble? Other than that, everything was fine. It's not far from the attractions and the pedestrian street, and it's convenient to take a taxi. I hope this doesn't happen again on my next stay at Atour; it seems like it was just this one time.

If there were more than five stars available on the platform, I'd give them to this hotel. Choosing Chengyi was the smartest decision we made on this trip to Hengdian; it was a truly delightful surprise. The value for money is absolutely off the charts: a 200-something-yuan room with a living room, bathtub, and even a vanity table is just fantastic! Every evening, there's a great selection of late-night snacks, and they're delicious! I also have to commend Chengyi's service. Every staff member here is as genuine and dedicated as the hotel's name implies! You can really feel their thoughtfulness. Last night, my husband suddenly got a headache in the middle of the night, and the front desk immediately brought warm water and a steam eye mask – we were truly touched 🥹. If you're driving, it's actually very convenient to all the attractions. The furthest, Ming and Qing Palace Garden, is only a 15-minute drive, and the New Yuanmingyuan is just 3 minutes away. Overall, this experience gets a big thumbs up 👍!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly Recommended Stay in Hengdian! I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Hengdian. The location is excellent—just about a 10-minute walk to Qin Palace and Dream Valley. There are convenience stores nearby, plenty of restaurants, Hanfu rental studios, and Youyi Photo Studio, making it very convenient for travelers and photoshoot enthusiasts. What impressed me the most was the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, helpful, and easy to approach. They even upgraded us to a family room, which made our stay even more comfortable. The amenities were complete, and the housekeeping team did a fantastic job every day. The room was cleaned daily, water and toiletries were replenished, and towels were replaced regularly. The best part? The manager went above and beyond by helping me purchase Zhang Linghe’s Molison eyeglasses! ❤️😍 As a fan, I was so happy. I also received lots of Zhang Linghe freebies, which was such a thoughtful surprise. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations in terms of service, convenience, and hospitality. In fact, we enjoyed our stay so much that we decided to extend it! If you’re planning to stay in Hengdian, I highly recommend this hotel.

highly recommended! When the weather is hot, you don't have to go out in the room. There are many shops to eat and drink around. There are many choices for supper, fast food, and milk tea. The takeaway is also very fast. There are robots to deliver. The room is quiet and hygienic, and the price is very high.

Right next to Huating Night Market and across from Wansheng Street. Who knew you could smell the night market from the hotel? Couldn't resist going downstairs for a bite! 😂 However, you'll need to take a taxi to get to the tourist attractions, as public transport isn't that convenient for early mornings and late nights.

Super fun! This was one of the theme hotels that were hidden on the Guangzhou Street and Hong Kong Street set. Appropriately, the Rosslyn Hotels' brand icon is the Landlady from Kungfu Hustle. Upon arrival, you check in at the North Gate's Tourist Services Desk. The concierge welcomed me with a complimentary bag of fresh fruit and asking me to add their butler (Housekeeper Xiao Xiao) to my WeChat. If I needed anything, I just had to text the Housekeeper Xiao Xiao (who was super helpful with all my questions (in English) during my stay). Then the bellhop whisked me away, via golf cart, to my hotel. There were several hidden hotels, with different themes, throughout the set. The bellhop took me through an unassuming door among into what looked like an empty set, and up an elevator to the room floors. The walkway offered a lovely view of the Ming Qing Palace set next door. The rooms were supposed to be themed as Guangzhou and Hong Kong in the 70s and 80s, but could easily pass for old Shanghai. The room was immaculate. The bed was very comfortable, the shower has nice and hot and with fantastic water pressure. The room has some of the largest closet space that I have seen in any hotel. The WiFi worked without the need to register a local cellphone number (I've found that many other hotels, in China, offered free WiFi, but you need to verify with an ID code text to you. The texts never come through to my U.S. phone number, so I have never been able to take advantage of free WiFi; that is until I got to this hotel.) The little details were delightful surprises around every corner. They always refer to guests as ”laoshi” (an honorific of teacher, or master, bestowed to actors) or as ”starlet”. Not gonna lie, I really wanted to take home the pair of the room's bone china cups. The stay also comes with very decent breakfast buffet that had both Chinese and western dishes. They will even make you fresh wontons and noodle soups to order. The restaurants in the park are not great and quite expensive by China's standard. I recommend loading up at the more tasty free breakfast to power through the day. The hotel's location was very convenient for touring Guangzhou Street and Hong Kong Street; which had very lively evening shows. (As you walk through the streets, look at the stores' signs and test your TV shows and movie knowledge by finding the Easter eggs.) The Qing Ming Palace Set is across the street from the Guangzhou Street and Hong Kong Street's South Gateon the other side of the park (don't worry, it's not that far). To access the other sets, you can take their shuttle, but it does not come around very often. It's more efficient to get a Didi. Overall, it was a magical stay of being in the movies.
