Check-in is actually only possible from 3 p.m., even though we were only there less than an hour earlier. At least they could have offered to let us leave our luggage. The man at reception spoke very quickly and much too quietly for me as a hearing aid wearer. I had to ask for everything, really everything, which was really unpleasant and annoying. There is a great need for training here!
I was treated very rudely at breakfast because I didn't immediately understand the reason given when I was asked for my room number. I think that is the worst of all the shortcomings! Because it made me feel discriminated against in several ways and that is just unacceptable!
The entire furnishings were colorful and modern, but these are all just external things that are secondary in my eyes. The room was very clean, but it is quite thinly soundproof - my wife slept very restlessly. Unfortunately there were only large pillows. So I had to get up again in the morning with a sore neck and headache.
I have stayed in many hotels, but I can actually say that I left this one the most annoyed and dissatisfied.
The parking lot was comparatively expensive and on two exits (with my day ticket) I experienced other vehicles following closely behind me and thus parking without a (paid) ticket. I also found that very unpleasant and unfair. As an honest payer, I unintentionally helped two other parkers avoid paying their parking fees. And that was only because the hotel did not have the defective entrance barrier repaired promptly.
This whole result made me decide not to book any more Moxy hotels. On the contrary, I am considering confronting the management with these points in writing, as this is discrimination.
Conclusion: Never again!
