Che posto! Due casette ed una chiesa in mezzo al nulla, tra montagne arrotondate e pascoli con caprette. La casetta è di torba e legno con tetto erboso, l’interno in legno, lampade soffuse e piumini morbidi nei letti. Colazione abbondante con vista mozzafiato. Fiabesco

This hotel in the Iceland highlands is an exceptional property. We were blessed with great weather, clear skies, and a lovely view of the Aurora Borealis! The rooms are very nice, the beds good, and the views from the back of each room are spectacular. The restaurant is very good and the included breakfast is excellent. There are choices for all dietary needs. The lounge in the front of the guesthouse has facilities for coffee and tea along with comfortable seating areas. In addition to the generally excellent facilities, local tour options include 4x4 excursions. A great place to stay!!!

Nos alojamos en una de las cabañas para 6 personas, la cual tiene su baño, cocineta y cómodas camadas. Las cabañas son 2 pegadas, sin embargo no escuchamos ningún ruido de los vecinos. La cabaña es hermosa, cómoda y en un lugar bello! Disfrutamos mucho la tranquilidad y paisajes, logramos ver auroras boreales en la noche. De todos los lugares que nos hospedamos esta cabaña fue nuestra favorita!!!

Magic place in the middle of Iceland. Our room was so nice and even the shared bathroom. Adam was very nice and the food is also very good at the restaurant. We had the chance to see the arctic foxes. An incredible experience!

This was our favorite overnight stay in Iceland. It has the feel of a tiny village, about 4 miles down a dirt road from the main highway. It is a quaint and charming, setting, with a nice restaurant, hotel, outdoor seating areas, and scenic views of the nearby volcano. Our dinner in the restaurant was excellent. We stayed in the hotel, which is a separate building just a short walk away. Our rooms were very nice and comfortable. Overall, a very enjoyable experience. We only wish we could have stayed longer than one night.

Great accomandation. We had an amazing room and view. Everything Was perfectly clean and cosy. And in the middle of nowhere. Its a 67.000 hecter farm!!! Totally stunning and totally recommendate this accomodation. To get there its an easy gravel road with no issues at all straight from Route 1 only like 5min from the Golden Circle.

Wat een fantastische plek. Dit kleine dorpje in the middle of nowhere met een uitstekend hotel. We hadden van tevoren geboekt, maar kregen een upgrade naar een betere (luxere) kamer. Deze was zeer modern met uitstekende bedden en een heel goede douche.Vooral het uitzicht over het uitgestrekte land is prachtig. Verder heb je een centrale ruimte waar je zelf heel goede verse koffie kunt pakken. De eigenaar heeft alles zelf gebouwd en vooral de isolatie van de wanden met een soort van turf is mooi gedaan.
