A very satisfying stay, highly recommended. The room is big enough for a family of four. Also suitable for couples or traveling together. A typical local duplex cabin, very unique! In addition to simplicity, you can also feel the owner's intentions! The host is also very welcoming. No problem communicating in English!

The property is unique and not a stale, sterile hotel room. Everything was perfectly suited for my stay and the hosts were wonderful! It is a little bit off the beaten path but everything is within walking distance and the major tour companies are familiar with the property for easy pickup and dropoff. I'd definitely stay again!

We felt the most welcome we have in all our travels through Argentina. I wish we would have stayed longer. We were comfortable and the cabin was so charming. The fresh baked bread and breakfast spread were so welcome. Our hosts were excellent in all aspects. When we return to El Calafate, we will stay at Cabañas Alechen.

Everything was excellent, sheets, towels, excellent and impeccably white, pillows and mattress that guarantee a good rest, a cabin with a beautiful view of the lake, with all the warmth and the best comfort. As seen in the photos. The owners, Alejandro and Eduardo, geniuses who accompanied us until the last moment of our stay and advised us on excursions and shops. Excelente cabaña, ubicada a pocas cuadras del centro por lo que uno puede moverse caminando sin problema. Eduardo y Alejandro te ayudan con cada duda que tengas. An amazing way to be introduced to Patagonia! We stayed at Cabanas Alechen our first nights, and we were thrilled at the beautiful flowers, cozy wooden cabin, and homemade breads and fresh juice for breakfast! What amazing hosts. Staying at the cabin made a fantastic start to our Patagonian adventure - highly recommended!

It was wonderful. The two hosts are super helpful, courteous, open and always available if you have a question or need help. The breakfast was very tasty and there was a different surprise every day. There was nothing wrong with the accommodation, the cottage was perfectly furnished and we wanted for nothing. It was a great stay and we would come back any time and recommend it to others. We had a great stay at Alejandro and Eduardo’s cabin. They provided cute touches including a flag outside our cabin from our country, excellent breakfast and even a car ride to the bus station for our bus to El Chalten. They gave great restaurant recommendations and the Cabin is only a short walk into town. Would highly recommend a stay at Cabañas Alechen!
