The room was nice, good size and the bed was comfortable. There is a capsule coffee machine in the room. Breakfast is a separate menu, delicious and not expensive. The hotel is next to the Thames.

We stayed for one night to attend an event at the Hampton Court Festival. Such a warm welcome from Ashley, who offered us pimms on arrival, showed us to our room and gave us the most delicious shortbread! Our heritage room opened onto a lovely courtyard with seating, and the room was just lovely - loved the fresh milk in the fridge and the books by the bed. The bathroom was beautifully done with lovely toiletries. Although the bar was closed when we returned from the event, we were able to order wine to our room to end the evening. Breakfast was very good too, lovely views over the river and a good selection of continental buffet followed by eggs Benedict. Really hope to come back and stay again one day!

We stayed here during Hampton Court Music Festival and for our anniversary in the Royal Mews room. We loved the character of the hotel and the attention to detail was superb. Booked direct on the hotel website so we were able to enjoy welcome drinks, a free delicious cooked breakfast in the Boathouse and two free tickets to Hampton Court as well (flexible entry date). Staff were absolutely lovely, and everyone had a smile on their face despite the rain! Thank you so much to the team at The Mitre for a lovely and memorable stay.

The hotel room was extremly warm to the extent that i could not sleep .Bearing in mind that this was mid March and outside temperatures were in single figures, i dread to think how warm it will be in summer.
In the morning i had to wait 15 minutes whilst the hotel staff moved the car that was blocking my vehicles exit.

A one night stop to attend a concert at Hampton court palace. Excellent location as just over the road, with other bars and river walks close by. Friendly meet and greet for car parking right outside, lovely receptionist, and a comfortable room. We had an evening meal in the 1665 restaurant, also very good.

We got table in restaurant before Tom jones concert at Hampton court. The food and service were outstanding!!!! We will return. May stay at hotel next time. Outstanding!!!!! It overlooks the river; it absolutely made our evening. Oh, and Tom jones was superb too!

We celebrated a large joint birthday party for 80 people. The Mitre organisation was fantastic with everything thought of. The setting on the terrace and in the orangery was beautiful. The food was delicious and everyone had a brilliant time. Thank you for making it such a memorable night for us!

The hotel was gorgeous and everyone was kind and helpful. The restaurant was fantastic! Great food, great view, and great drinks. We were there to get ready for a wedding and it was a great location. They hosted our after party and it was all perfect!
