best hotel in crete.
the best hotel throughout our 7 day crete journey. wonderful staff, excellent service, nespresso machine in the room and even a chocolate cake waiting for us on our arrival. what else can we ask for ?! we had a room with a balcony overlooking the harbor of elounda, a beautiful village that we have fallen in love with. desperately looking forward to coming back.

Spotless Clean, Recently Reinivated & Amazingly Decorated, Adults Only Suites Hotel. From the owner Nektaria, to the polite son and the cleaning staff, everyone and everything to the point. City centred, Affordable. Needless of 5 star hotel. We had a blast. Till next time. Take care.

We are coming to the end of our holiday of ten days. This is a definite must if you are looking for a comfortable, spacious place to stay on your holiday to Elounda. It is situated right in the middle of the town which you would never know as you do not hear anything, it is so quiet. From the moment we arrived we were blown away, a beautiful self contained apartment with the biggest balcony I have ever seen. Absolutely everything is thought of, even down to some luxury touches of a turn down service where a little sweet treat and bottles of water at left at your bed. Every body have been so welcoming and friendly that has made us feel so special. The room has everything that is needed for your stay and if you are unsure you can message before you go and you will have a very prompt reply. The beach is less than 2 minute walk for spending your lazy holiday days. We are not being picked up till 6.30 and we are able to keep our room till then which is the icing on the cake. We will definitely be back to spend more time here.

We stayed here 8 years ago, booked to go back and reaqant ourselves with beautiful Elounda. Wow, was are expression on arrival. A complete transformation and so stylishly done. We were met by the owner and Greater as long lost friends. She was so wanting to show us our room, such a wonderful transformation. Everything thought through and giving guests the best experience. The bottle of water and refreshing lemon drink was just what we needed after arriving in a heatwave. Fifteen years ago Elounda came into our lives and we had just forgotten how it makes you feel. It was an emotional departure and tears were she'd, but they were happy tears of what they have achieved at the Kalypso. See you hopefully in 2025.

Fantastic hotel. We would definitely return. Beautiful modern interior, crisp white bedding, robes & slippers, coffee machine with pods replenished each day, water provided too, also a welcome cake. Very helpful staff. The lovely cleaner kept our room spotless, cleaned everyday and a lovely turn down service in the evening was a special touch. Thank you. Central location but so peaceful at night. 2 minute walk to the beach and main street with restaurants. Must visit Spinalonga & Plaka beach for the day. 😍

I can’t recommend this place highly enough, there were 6 of us over 3 rooms, the hosts are among the nicest people I have met in my entire life, the rooms are fresh, modern and spotlessly clean, they even went out and bought a birthday cake for one of our group when they heard it was his birthday.
