Premier Inn Bristol East (Emersons Green)

The hotel was easy to find with the satnav. The car park is very big and easy to park. The receptionist was very helpful and friendly. All the staff (Beefeater as well) are so friendly and helpful. I had a choice where I wanted my room. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable. I chose to have a room with just a shower. There are no lifts and I had a big suitcase, soI had a room on the ground floor, there are lots of rooms. It was quite a walk to my room, but it was quiet where I was. I noticed work going on in some of the rooms and I was warned about scaffolding and possible noise between 8 am and 6pm. I didn't see any scaffolding and I didn’t have any issues with any work noise.

We requested an accessible room with a shower and were allocated one with all those features and with plenty of space. The only hiccup was when we requested housekeeping on our last day, it failed to materialise, but it didn't spoil our stay.

This hotel's position was the perfect choice for visiting friends & family who live nearby and whom we were visiting over Christmas. Car parking was always available whatever time we returned. Booking in was so simple with the reference in my email and was handled with great efficiency and very pleasantly. The room was spacious, clean & warm. The hotel was also very quiet with next to no noise from other guests, certainly not anything that caused any problems. Meals were available when we wanted them, which suited us as we were eating with our friends & family much of the time. All the staff we encountered were most helpful and very pleasant and treated us as people, not just numbers. We really did feel welcomed. A great experience. We would definitely book again if and when we need somewhere to stay.

This is a more difficult Premier Inn review to write than usual because if I were to concentrate on the success of my stay, together with with my wife and a daughter, I would readily award five stars. The same goes for the service received in both the hotel and adjacent Beefeater restaurant. However, the room occupied by my wife and me (no. 34) smelt uncharacteristically musty on first entering it, although this wasn't a problem once a minute or so had been spent in the accommodation. Otherwise, the room was clean and up to standard, although we did experience one other small issue, namely, the room's heater didn't respond to changes made to the temperature settings on the heater control unit. Not a major problem, and our daughter didn't complain of any issues. The hotel is very conveniently situated for the M4 motorway and general access to Bristol centre, and the car park is free and had adequate space during our stay. Our visit was to see family in Bristol, and the hotel's location proved most convenient for this, so despite the above issues, we'll probably use it for our next visit.

Lovely stay. I always choose Premier Inn for my stay. They always have clean rooms and comfy beds. This hotel looks a little bit tired but besides that my stay was great. Franccesca was really helpful at reception and even gave me some tips on places to visit. She was so friendly and made my stay feel like I was cared for.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this premier inn, the staff are some of the friendliest I have met. Thank you to Adele for a very warm welcome! The room was very clean and warm on arrival. Convenient location with a good sized car park, although it did get full quickly.
