We found this accommodation comfortable and peaceful. Our host was fantastic and really tried to make our stay nice. We did have issues with the WiFi but besides that it was very comfortable.

The Melvin country house was a fabulous place to stay in the Lakeland area. It is very conveniently located. And it offers a cook to order breakfast as well as having a restaurant available for lunch and dinner. The owners were very friendly and very helpful. The room was spotless and check-in was seamless, the room and bathroom were both good sized and easy to move around in.

A last minute decision to take an overnight stay somewhere and i could not have found anywhere better than here. From the moment i arrived, when greeted with "would you like a vup of tea" to the moment i chevked out it was fabulous. The room was really comfortable and lots of room
The food was divine. Frances was an excellent host. When next in the area i will definitely stay again.
