Wir waren 3 Tage lang zum Geburtstag im Hotel. Der Services einfach super !!! Vom Geburtstagsgeschenk bis zur Einladung zum Candellight-Haus-Sekt nach dem Dinner hat sich das Personal alle Mühe gegeben den Tag zu etwas Besonderen zu machen. Ein großes Dankeschön ! Sowohl unsere Suiten, als auch das Essen war 5 Sterne ! Das Convent ist eine Oase !!! Wir kommen gern wieder !

We were part of self guided Portugal Nature Trails bike trip. Amazing historic location! Coming up the hill on our e bikes viewing this beautiful place was a little heaven! Loved the way they have kept the historic parts, like the chapel , to view. The pools were beautiful. Our room was luxuriously simple. Also the hall lamps are filled with olive oil and lit at night! The four of us enjoyed eating outside on the patio for dinner. The only negative was my meal didn't show up until half an hour after everyone else. We enjoyed the tomato soup and cheese board but then everyone else meal, beef I believe showed up. We did ask about my duck and our waiter said soon. Half an hour is not soon! The duck and our dessert was wonderful but timely is key here. As we checked out we were told I should have contacted the office but I assumed the restaurant knew what they were doing. Loved the cork trees and the pottery in Redondo!

Um hotel rural fora do vulgar, um antigo convento adaptado, com história e locais para grandes passeios e boas fotos, bem enquadrado nas paisagens da serra d’Ossa. O interior é riquíssimo em detalhes de outras épocas. Os quartos não são todos iguais. Uns situam-se no edifício principal, alguns maiores e outros mais pequenos, que eram as antigas celas. Outros situam-se numa edificação a 200 metros, um pouco incómodo para dias frios ou de chuva. Ficámos duas noites no quarto 122 há 2 anos e agora quatro noites no 126, ambos grandes, cama muito confortável, quatro almofadas, bom ar condicionado e televisão de boa dimensão. De negativo, a corrigir: barulho matinal nos corredores dos quartos provocado pelas conversas barulhentas das senhoras da limpeza, que deviam conter-se. Bom pequeno-almoço buffet com razoável variedade de produtos. Há 2 anos havia sumo verdadeiro de laranja, agora havia daqueles sumos feitos com água. Muita simpatia no atendimento. Bom estacionamento.

Maria was lovely and very informative during check in. The area is beautiful and interesting. Truly a new experience for us staying in a former convent. Not something we can do at home.

Foram três dias maravilhosos neste hotel convento. Um espaço cheio de história é muito bem aproveitado. Todo o conforto de um hotel moderno dentro desse espaço histórico. Adoramos! Ainda há mta coisa para restaurar mas o que foi feito está impecável

Um dos mais emblemáticos espaços a explorar e desfrutar. Um ex-libris da cultura e Historia de Portugal, onde se encontra a maior colecção privada de azulejos. Um convento-hotel que nos transporta para outra dimensão e nos faz sonhar por um Mundo melhor. OU de outros tempos. Vai dar igual.,-) UM MUST!
