We spent a fabulous week at the Alone in October 2024, and I agree with previous comments that English is not the first language of the staff, and the signage is primarily in Spanish. I did not see any signs in English. Our 6th-floor room was bathed in sunlight from mid-afternoon until evening. The towels were replaced daily, and the room was kept clean. Upon requesting a kettle, it was provided immediately without any extra charge, and we were even offered tea and coffee from the bar. The rooms, however, lack a power outlet near the bed and could benefit from the addition of USB ports. They were spacious with very comfortable beds, and the sheets were changed during our stay. The pool area is well-maintained, though the sun loungers are somewhat outdated. We opted to use the pool at the Tropic next door. Regarding the food, there was no room for complaint. The variety was plentiful every day, with a consistent salad bar and a great selection of beef, fish, and chicken. However, the tea and coffee machines in the morning were frustratingly slow. It's a 10-minute walk to the beachfront, and local buses stop right outside the hotel. Service number 2 takes you to the Old Town and runs every 20 minutes until 10:30 pm. We will definitely retur
