Had an enjoyable stay here! Nice located and easy to find. Really big bed with warm air conditions so had a sound sleep. The view in the room was brilliant and we took lots of photos. Breakfast was also substantial with tea and coffee, and lots of desserts which could be fully full.

A very bad experience .First of all the reception closed at 9pm and when we arrived in the evening we found out that it was not the room we had booked, we were told that we had been "upgraded", the so-called upgrade was just an extra bed, not even a table, what did we need so many beds for two people? We only wanted the room we had booked but the hotel gave it to another guest and cancelled the breakfast we had booked, the most annoying thing was that there was no communication with us throughout, I don't think the hotel respected us at all!

The room is super large, very suitable for family travel. The geographical environment is excellent, facing the Pitti Palace, there are many restaurants on the street, and you can reach various attractions in Florence within 25 minutes on foot!

Excellent hotel opposite the Medici Palace, Palazzo Pitti - the very center, located in the ZTL zone, but you can come by car and they themselves park in the parking lot for 30 euros per day, an old building, but there is an elevator, I took a two-room suite with two toilets, everything is renovated in very good condition, the ceilings and walls are painted with frescoes!

It's very beautiful and stunning at first sight. But breakfast must be ordered in advance and the water pressure is very low. It is enough to take a bath and a bath. It is enough to stay for one night. The bed is very big and the sound insulation is not good. The floor is too low and the voices of passers-by can be heard very clearly.

Don't make a reservation, there will be no one at the hotel after 6 o'clock, so you have to find a place to check in by yourself. Then the hotel waiter discriminated against Chinese people, thinking that we couldn't understand Italian and kept talking behind our backs.

The location is just opposite the Pitti Palace and very close to Ponte Vecchio and the Uffizi. All attractions are within walking distance. The hotel design is beautiful and the facilities are of high quality. One of my favorite hotels in Italy during this trip.

Very good hotel. Very good experience. The location of the hotel is also very good. The facilities are comprehensive and the bathrooms are very clean. The staff will also help plan the required transportation routes and help call taxis.

Very good, just opposite Bidi Palace. There are many restaurants and attractions within walking distance. The cleanliness and configuration of the room are comparable to 5 stars. However, it is still recommended to arrange 1-2 nights to live in the new city to experience the style of Florence in an all-round way.

Unique and incredible place in the Florentine style with authentic decoration from the Pitti family. Stayed in Nikolaus room with my wife and 2 daughters. We saw other rooms which are great including the Royal suite with view in Pitti palace

The Piazza Pitti Palace is a truly special place, run by people passionate about Florence and giving guests a stay steeped in history. However, we had a series of unfortunate circumstances that lead us to have a negative experience with the Piazza Pitti Palace. We are a family of 5, on week 2 of a 3 week trip to 3 cities in Europe, so we had a fair amount of luggage. We arrived after the front desk had closed for the day. We were aware of this and had a positive experience communicating with the hotel staff before our arrival to ensure we would receive our keys. So far, so good. When we entered our room, we all noted a distinct smell. We figured it was due to the ancient nature of the entire building, and wrote it off as that. We continued to settle into the room we reserved, the Pittino Suite. We also discovered a fresh stain on one of the ottomans in the living room; we had arrived in the late evening so just avoided it and would let the staff know about it the next morning, during their business hours. We did so and the staff communicated that the ottoman was removed from the room while we were out and about touring Florence. After our 2nd night in the Pittino Suite, we woke up getting ready for our day. A considerable leak occured in the living area; we called one of the phone numbers we were provided and informed staff immediately. We had tour reservations we could not miss so we contained the leak with a trashcan, as well as use towels to absorb any water within range of the leak. Staff were on their way and we left for our tour. When we arrived back in the evening, we discussed options with the hotel staff. Since the leak occurred, we began to conclude that the initial smell we noted upon checking in was from water that eventually leaked. We learned that we would be offered two rooms for the remaining nights we had left in our stay at the Piazza Pitti Palace. In short, we would be moving twice. This was, of course, disappointing, but we decided to move forward with what we were being offered. It is here that translation became an issue, and I was unclear on what we were being offered our 2nd (last) night. We moved into our new room, a nice upgrade room with a view and enough beds for our family of 5. We slept, and woke up to pack up our things, and get ready for our day of tours in Florence. I went to the front desk to inform them we had packed all of our things, and it could be moved (by hotel staff) to our next room while we were out touring. I did this in good faith to be communicative and cooperate with the plan. I learned that our next room would have 3 beds (for 5 people): a king size bed, and two twins. Learning this, I expressed this would not be acceptable. It would require 3 people to sleep in a king size bed. I was informed that a refund for this last night would not be considered, because not only were they offering me a new room, but we also were given the option to remain in the Pittino Suite (our original room). I would have rated this hotel highly but a couple of things let’s this beautiful hotel down. The first was the bed bugs which were in both of the suites we booked. We informed and showed the staff. We were told that they allow dogs to stay at the hotel and this may be where the problem lies. They need to close the hotel and get the Problem sorted out. It’s completely unacceptable and by the way, I am having to write this review twice. We are well travelled and stayed in a lot of hotels and this was a big trip that we had taken over an eight week period. And stayed in some wonderful hotels over this period of time. I was extremely excited to stay at this hotel. The decor inside is amazing. The rooms are large however, The issue with the bugs is totally unacceptable. You also have to pay for this hotel a week before you arrive in full.
