This is our go to place to treat ourselves as it's consistently good. My wife treated me to an overnight stay for my birthday. We chose the Yorkshire Break which basically was lunch dinner and breakfast. Lunch was fabulous in the Clocktower restaurant and set the tone for the rest of the stay. Our room wasn't ready so we went to the pool to relax for a few hours before our dinner at Horto. I went back to get the keys at 15:00 as was astounded when we were shown to a huge Suite. 2 bathrooms, massive bed , sofa I could go on. Dinner was excellent as always in Horto. A great night's sleep was had so we headed down to breakfast which again was a feast. The usual selection of continental and cooked was on offer and thoroughly delicious. We had a quick wonder round before leaving and chatted to some really friendly staff putting up decorations for various Christmas parties . The staff are exceptional at this hotel as is everything else. We can't wait to return

An offer came up for an overnight stay at Rudding Park. It coincided with our second wedding anniversary. I made the booking that included an overnight stay, breakfast and evening meal and also a Spa treatment. We were both overwhelmed at the service that we received during our stay at Rudding Park. The attention to detail. The personalized service. All of the staff at Rudding park made us feel really special. They went over and above, and we felt like royalty. The spa treatment was exemplary. We both had full body massages together. The room that we stayed in was ‘a cut above’. I’m not going to go into every detail (and I’ve stayed at some premium locations). I wouldn’t hesitate to thoroughly recommending Rudding Park to anyone. Whether it’s a couples stay like ours, on business or just a meal. We will be staying there again soon. Thank you for reading this. I hope you find it useful. Jonathan and Sarah Athey

We visited for our 35th wedding anniversary, we had a superb time. The hotel and spa are lively but the icing on the cake were the staff, everyone spoke, very natural and very relaxed but professional. Highly recommend for that special break.

This hotel exceeds expectations in every way. Rudding Park is faultless , from the friendly helpful and knowledgeable staff to the immaculate presentation and cleanliness throughout. The decor and lighting is perfect , the bar and lounge area providing the cosiest of places to relax after a fabulous meal in the Clocktower restaurant. We ventured out for a walk in the gardens and came across their new venture Fifty Two an immersive dining experience.. despite it not being open at the time the staff who were full of enthusiasm came out to chat to us and explained the concept and ideas. I could talk about the merits of this hotel all day but suggest you book and try it for yourself you will not be disappointed. There are amazing deals on throughout the year too . We very much look forward to our next stay , thank you

A massive thank you to everyone at Ruddick Park, especially Matthew and Sam who helped in the whole proposal process. The candle lit chapel was decorated amazingly and Matthew timed the song perfectly as soon as we walked in. He also filmed the walk down the aisle and the proposal which was really special to rewatch and keep. I highly recommend booking with the Rudding park team as they really care about your preferences and experience.

We booked Rudding Park on a fantastic deal. The price included a bottle of Champagne, dinner and breakfast. On arrival we were met by a dilligent porter who immediately took our cases. On check-in, a really nice lad from Leeds checked us in and accompanied us to our room. Very chatty and informal. The hotel itself is largely new but with a nod to period details. Our room was large, with every convenience including bedside USB and USBC ports, comfortable chairs, contemporary decor and a spectacular view onto gardens accessed from french doors. We had a drink in the bar which was slick and modern, but a little corporate. Staff throughout were friendly, yet efficient and a credit to the hotel. We weren't expecting too much from the Clocktower Brasserie as the hotel also offers 'fine dining' in Horto. Hats off though, the food was beautifully presented, well cooked and was very reasonably priced. The restaurant itself was large, contemporary and airy, but the conservatory had a nicer ambience, but possibly not on a bitter Winter's day! Breakfast next day offered a cornucopia of both hot and cold options. The full English was perfect, with quality ingredients and cooked to order. We didn't use the spa, but from what we could see, it looked very impressive. All in all, Rudding Park is a very high quality hotel, with a great young team running it. Would happily return, preferably in Spring or Summer, to enjoy the grounds.

Amazing stay at Rudding Park for my partner’s 50th. Spa, room, lunch at Horto and dinner at the Clocktower restaurant were all faultless. Staff were all helpful, welcoming and attentive, particularly Max and Matthew at reception. Will definitely return.

I have previously been to Rudding Park and had a fantastic experience but my last visit was mediocre. I paid £160 for my partner and I to have a facial and use the spa facilities. Be careful to read the description before you book as the spa facilities we had access to was a pool, sauna and relaxation room. The pool had a family splash zone party, the sauna doesn’t have a cold shower nearby. We asked to pay to upgrade and use the outside pool but were not allowed. The facial itself was great but not worth £80pp! The restaurant team were lovely and the food was delicious. The spa ethos seems to have changed from my previous visits which is a shame.
