Jr-East Hotel Mets Fukushima

The location was very good and it was very convenient to move around the area. I will use it again when I go to Fukushima.

I stayed here when my wife and I went back to my parents' house over Obon. The hotel was clean and we had no complaints about the room, but it was unfortunate that the people staying in the rooms next to and across from us were quite noisy, probably as a family. Of course, that can't be helped... While buffets have become the norm for hotel breakfasts recently, this was a refreshing change for us, as we chose either Western or Japanese food and it was brought to us individually. The meal was filling and satisfying. I think we might return.

The location is very close to the station, so it's easy to find even for first-time visitors to Fukushima, and there is a medical center and bus terminal nearby, so it's very convenient. The towels I requested were delivered to my room immediately, and the basic services were good. The only thing that was very disappointing was the breakfast. I was hoping for a buffet, but there was no choice between a Japanese set menu or a Western set menu, and the food was so simple that it felt like hospital food, and the taste was below average. If this point is improved, I would like to use it again.
