Very nice hotel, definitely worth to stay! - friendly service, - comfortable and quiet room, - clean and orderly, - really good outdoor pool, - amazing food and wine at the restaurant, - easy parking, - given for walks (e.g. in the vineyards), - located near Krems and not far from the highway. Highly recommended.

Wir waren von der Gastfreundschaft und von den kulinarischen Fähigkeiten mehr als begeistert. Wir können dieses Hotel mit ruhigem Gewissen empfehlen und würden jederzeit wieder hierher kommen. Schön dass es solche Familienbetriebe noch gibt.

Die Weinresidenz ist ein schönes, ruhiges Hotel - an sich zu empfehlen. Der Hausherr selbst, ist im Gegensatz zu seiner Familie, allerdings kein guter Gastgeber. Unsere Freunde wurden bei Ihrer Ankuft nicht darüber informiert, daß eine Kartenzahlung ( durch angebliche Stromausfälle ) nicht möglich ist. Völlig ahnungslos und völlig uninformiert forderte Herr Sonnleitner bei der Abreise unsere Freunde auf, mit Bargeld die Rechnung zu begleichen - das sie in diesem Umfang nicht bei sich hatten. Herr Sonnleitner wurde sehr unfreundlich - worauf unsere Freunde vermerkten, daß sie eine solche Behandlung als Gast nicht gewohnt sind, in Erwartung einer Entschuldigung des Hausherren. Seine wortwärtliche Antwort, statt einer entsprechenden Entschuldigung: "Damit kann ich gut leben"; - mein Mann übernahm dann die gesamte Rechnung ! Betreffend Frühstück: eine riesige Auswahl, aber wenn man 2 Gerichte gleichzeitig serviert haben möchte - wird der Chef unfreundlch und macht uns darauf ziemlich rüde aufmerksam, "daß nur ein Gericht bestellt werden kann - und nach dessen Verzehr das nächste Gericht" - wir kamen uns doch alle sehr bevormundet vor ! Wir werden die Weinresidenz sicher nicht mehr besuchen.
