We arrived at Wallawwa late in the evening, and from the minute we walked through the door we felt like our holiday had begun. The team were so welcoming, the feel of the hotel itself is so relaxing and the food is amazing. Given its proximity to the airport it is the perfect place to start your Sri Lankan adventure! We will be back!

First day in Sri Lanka and our first hotel and it just didn’t disappoint. The service from the time we arrived to the time we left was impeccable. Our room was very generous with a beautiful outlook. Food was amazing. The hotel grounds are stunning what more could be said?

Our third stay at the Wallawwa and it is as perfect as ever. Friendly staff, comfortable surroundings and the most delicious food - it really is a fabulous place to stay in Sri Lanka. Afternoon tea and ‘happy hour’ add to the enjoyment. A hidden gem. Thank you Dinesh

This was our first stop on landing in Sri Lanka and was perfect to get us relaxed and in tune with the country. We could have easily stayed longer as it was fantastic food, location and service with an attentive GM set in beautiful grounds. "Happy hour" was a revelation (and boozy) with free, not discounted, drinks!

Our last day in Sri Lanka and we thought it would be a waste of precious time to stay in a hotel all day !! Absolutely not ! From our welcome, attentive and informative staff, Kapila was particularly brilliant as he helped navigate through a superior menu which included the best Cerviche we've ever eaten, so again at lunch it was ! A wonderful Spa experience followed by a stroll round the gardens, up through the veggie garden and met the three long eared goats Garden and interior design, plus interesting artwork, was a visual delight. Loved our day here ! Tobes and Dee . South Africa
